I'm quite sad about this one, it seemed promising

An absolute banger, I had tons of fun playing! It's nice I could do it on my steam deck too.
I loved the design of this game the most! I always took a moment to appreciate the location when I found a new one (probably my fave one is Sol's mansion, all those portraits are so interesting to look at). The mobs, the characters, all of them look so creative, I could basically see the love they were executed with. 2d artworks of characters were flawless, thankyouverymuch.
Lots of witty lines and unexpected jokes there too! The plot is good, I was quite surprised I had to fight Grim at the end.
I did encounter some difficulties tho, it sometimes took me a while to navigate my way to a specific location (opening the wardrobe was quite a challenge for me, I could not find Ilessa to get the necessary item for opening the door)
I also noticed some inconsistencies like being able to finish the personal quest for Vess after finding out the truth about the murders. I was just talking to the thin air instead of the character, she was gone, haha
Fights were fun sometimes, I liked the bosses, Lulu was the hardest one, I just couldn't figure out what to do with her lol.
A fun game, might give it a rerun later.

Honestly, the game is everything I need in a VN:

It's quite rare for me to be invested into all routes in a VN at once, but here we are. I couldn't help but like all of them, even though I definitely had a favourite (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)
I also have been listening to jazz music only for wuite a while, the game has such a nice vibe and I want to hold on to it for a bit longer, haha
Have to say that using a guide for each route is mandatory, I encoutered quite a few bugs and error messages in the game, sadly. But I'm sure it's avoidable if you stick to the instructions. The structure of the game seems more complex than in your average VN, I see why getting rid of all possible issues might be tricky.
Nevertheless, I still recommend playing it. The experience is totally worth it! Maybe in the future the game will run more smoothly and it will become a perfect VN in my humble opinion.

Новая игра не делит мир на черное и белое, а герои не всегда четко разделены на "плохих" и "хороших". Такой подход делает выборы сложнее, а эмоциональную вовлеченность глубже.
Сила
То, что Шон не обладает сверх-способностями является неожиданным, но хорошим ходом. Как раз эта часть сюжета и показывает, как непредсказуема жизнь и что мы не всегда можем контролировать ситуацию.
Отношения братьев
Воспитание Дэниэля может показаться утомляющим, но по мне это лучший способ показать, как твои решения влияют на мир и людей вокруг. В данном случае, вариативность событий обыграна идеально.
Сменяющиеся локации и герои
Игра является отличным примером жанра road trip, который сконцентрирован на внутренних изменениях героев под влиянием внешних факторов. Парни меняются от эпизода к эпизоду, растут. НПС, которых мы встречаем во время прохождения, сменяются другими, но отношения братьев с ними можно прослеживать всю игру. Было очень приятно получать сообщения от Лайлы и письма от Финна от эпизода к эпизоду. И читать блог Броди!
Сюжет
По мне так все проблемы второго сезона на градус выше и взрослее, чем в первом, им сопереживаешь сильнее, а концовка намного запутаннее, чем раньше. Если в истории Макс и Хлои все твои действия до рокового выбора просто бессмысленны, то Шон и Дэниэль медленно идут по выбранному пути, и каждый поступок считается.
Политика
Можно ли считать, что история имеет четкий политический посыл? Верно ли, что все герои намеренно разделены на левых и правых, чтобы показать моральное превосходство одних над другими? Если вам так сильно колет глаза любое упоминание тягот "цветного" населения США, то играть точно следует. В игре действительно поднимаются важные социальные проблемы, но делается это обоснованно. Может быть, взгляд на происходящее с точки зрения героев позволит кому-то пересмотреть свои взгляды или просто задуматься над положением вещей? Приятно думать, что да.
Делая вывод, я бы назвала эту игру лучшей версией первой части хотя бы потому, что в ней нет Хлои. Настолько раздражающий персонаж был заменен на немного менее раздражающего младшего брата. Хорошая работа.
10 из 10, определенно перепройду не раз.

I found this game on App store and after trying out the trial version I just had to buy the game. Luckily, I found it here and I am not regretting buying it.
Artworks in the game are splendid, the characters look flawless and appealing. I'm not really familiar with other Winter Wolves games but this one has been sheer delight. I didn't actually expect to come across such a touching story and be so involved with the main character. It was nice to see the relationship not connected with romance being so deep.
I should admit that the gameplay turned out to be a bit challenging: I had to start the game all over again a few times to get the achievements I wanted. But that's a good thing, I guess ^^
Anyway, the game is definetly worth playing and the developers did great job.
