Loved this game. It shares many similarities to FC3, so it's familiar territory which is a good thing... especially if you enjoyed FC3 like I did.

The story is pretty good and the choices you get to make in the game reflect how things will turn out which is cool. Pagan isn't quite as good a villain as Vass from FC3, but I enjoyed him for the most part.

Like in FC3, you still liberate outposts to create fast travel points and get moreuse activities, and bell towers to reveal more of the map and get free weapons. Skills, hunting, and plenty of other activities are all back too, and most of them are enjoyable and fun to play. What's cool is if you want to upgrade certain skills you need to take part in one or two of each activity, but the good thing is the game doesn't force you to do all of them. It's kinda interesting because I wasn't particularly thrilled having to do some of them at first, but since I dabbled a bit I found them to be somewhat meaningful to the whole story arc and actually pretty fun too. In other words, it didn't feel like boring filler crap to pad out playtime, although if you're a completionist you can do so if you wish, (and the game tracks all of it in a handy menu which is great).

Only thing I didn't care for at all were the Shangri la side missions. There's only 4 of them and they're optional, but I found them really annoying and not fun to play at all. Again, since they're optional it's no big deal.

If you enjoyed FC3 you'll most likely enjoy this one too. I liked this game WAY more than FC5...that game had an awful villain and the microtransactions everywhere didn't sit well with me. But here none of that is present and I can't recommended it enough.
