If you can get past the tank controls, this game is really fun. It's obviously a Tomb Raider ripoff, but Tomb Raider was inspired by Indiana Jones anyway, so who cares?

I would have an easier time listing what isn't wrong with this game but I'm gonna list everything it does wrong anyway.


I quickly learned tabbing out actually crashes the game, and sometimes your entire system. God forbid I wanna check something.

This game is the embodiment of that joke people make about DLCs costing more than the game and there's a lot of them for what is essentially base content, except this game isn't joking and actually does that crap. I didn't pay for the DLC, I can use my money on better things.

Why is it for a 2009 game (it's not 2021 graphics, even Black Mesa looks better than this) that I get horrible lag sometimes with an RTX 3080 and i9 processor? What did the devs test this game on, a Mac?

The gameplay itself is pretty much what you'd expect. I can't give it flack for me not knowing how to start a train for a while, because I did skip the tutorial. Though I didn't play for long because I don't have the patience for 20 FPS anymore.

It's really sad too, I heard this game was completely fine up until like 2020 where they did all this stupid crap. I played a much older Train Simulator as a kid, one where everything was included with the game, and you could put trains in any scenario without an error. It was CD-based and old, so likely wasn't this game. I found myself preferring the one I played as a kid over this one, because it didn't have all the issues.

Overall? Don't bother. There's better train games, I'm sure. Ones that aren't the poster child for greed.

Only buy it if you need convincing that your life is not worth living.

This is downright terrible. I will give you a detailed list of how crappy this mod is.

1. Barely functioning helicopter gun.

2. ANNOYING MUSIC.

3. Lack of story.

4. Everything is reskinned, no new models.

5. Aliens before Resonance Cascade.

6. Random grunts because grunts!

7. Socially awkward reskinned scientist.

8. Terrible grammar.

9. Controllers getting stuck in the sky when they die.

10. Final boss is literally just a small, T-posed Nihilanth that acts as a barnacle.

11. Game crashes when you finish.

12. The map in the ending cutscene looks better than the ship you played on.

The fact that my first two crappy obstacle courses for GMod were better than this and had better puzzles is just downright sad and the creators should feel terrible for making this. This is the second worst HL1 mod I ever played, the ultimate worst being Sky Mesa.

It sure is infinitely better when your computer isn't as old as your typical DarkRP admin.

Playing is nice, making mods for it is for masochists.

This game is really fun and severely underrated. Who DOESN'T want to throw toilets and sawblades at their friends' faces?

As of writing this, this game is broken. All it's good for is modding.

So basically...

If you're looking to play a game, play HL1 or Black Mesa.

If you're looking to make HL1-based mods in Source, this is for you.
