It's a strange beast for sure. A puzzle game with some timing elements that end up slowly becomes more and more of just a straight up action game, taking a brief section as basically an RTS near the middle.
Lovely presentiation, unique music and soundscape that gets stuck in my head but not necessarily in a good way. Took me about 12 hours to beat the story mode and collect all the optional "goldies". There are also some more intensive steam achievements available that i'm not sure i'll go back for.
There are of course alot more hours that are possible in the game, with user made levels and the afforementioned challenges, but i don't personally feel like spending more time with the game.

Pretty good, can recommend on sale, probably not worth it for the full price unless you are really into the premise and what other reviews have said.

Absolutely amazing, haven't been able to stop thinking about it after i finished it weeks ago. Not really replayable (for all the best reasons) and it doesn't need to be. The DLC is 100% worth the price as well, almost close to doubling the playtime with more high quality content.

Wonderful collection of games, fun and varied with plenty of little tunes that get stuck in the head.
Lots of creative ideas and novel game mechanics, 20 hours in and i've only touched about half the games, looking forward to many more hours.

If you liked the first one, or if you are simply a fan of turn-based tactics games, this is an easy recommend. While the new overworld mechanics can be a little finnicky, they don't outstay their welcome, and add a bit of exploration and push-your-luck compared to the "pick a mission" flow of the original.
Also shout-out to Steam Powered Giraffe, who knock it out of the park with the soundtrack once again, not losing a single bit of their luster and matching the vibes that the new settings brings perfectly.
Crowbar my beloved, please give her a standalone game.

Took me 20 hours to get the true ending, between achievement hunting and experimenting with different loadouts and difficulty settings.
Absolutely recommend, it's not a hardcore, super hard deckbuilder, it's more story driven, with likeable characters and a fun combat system.

Absolutely fantastic. As many other have, it's easy to compare to Slay the Spire and of it's many contemporaries it stands tall. Where many other roguelike deckbuilders fail Astrea manages to walk that fine balance line that makes every run exciting and every deckbuilding decision important. The very recent update to the "ascension" system also makes the entire thing much less of a grind as ascension progression is shared between all 6 different characters, which is good as runs tend to be (atleast in my current experience) about an hour long.
Fantastic design, fantastic graphics, nice soundtrack, the only flaw i can point out is some minor visual bugs in specific interactions, definitely recommended.

Fantastic roguelike action auto-shooter game. Builds feel good to craft, good amount of options both for gameplay and visuals, sound design that tickles my brain in that good way too. Soundtrack is nicely varied, with shorter songs that are all quite pleasant. Also skeletons.

A nice, short deckbuilder which plays alot like a singleplayer Ascension, but with a focus on damage. There's a series of different bosses to fight (which mostly functions as a timer but they often throw additional spanners in your works) that are all, atleast interesting. I like the shakeup halfway through that changes the starting deck as well with a nice sendoff on the new final boss.
It has an appealing artstyle (atleast to me), the sounds are nice and crunchy, played with a controller turns can go fast and animations are snappy. Which is great cause it allows you to stay in a flow state and focus on building your strategy and react to whatever is coming instead of waiting for long animations.

For the price i got a good 3.5 hours out of it and i would say i enjoyed all of it.

Simple, but refined. With rollback netcode on the horizon the game will get over it's one real flaw. For the price, it well worth delivers, would love more tilesets though.

An absolute marvel of a CRPG, Disco Elysium's writing cought me from the very first moment and never once dipped in quality. A great experience from start to finish and one i might come back to, to replay with a different loadout in the future.

Edit: After a second playthrough i can confidently say that this is easily in my top 5 games of all time. This music adds to the experience in an amazing way that may not be fully understood until listening through it again, the dialog, missions and XP progression weaves a narrative that is always fully immersive even when you know the world. Knowingly working towards goals and the segments of the world you can explore with each kind of build makes you appreciate how tightly, the entire world is tied together and it truly feels like the developers considered everything.

Truly, truly, a game that stands together with the titans of the CRPG genre.
