So there I was, a young lad just starting his journey in high school. I was so excited, couldn't wait to meet all the new faces and begin a new adventure. Anyways Mum dropped me off at school for my first day and there he was, a big dominating figure, DV, I tried to stop myself from getting a big fat boner but I couldn't help myself, just as I was trying to cover it up he noticed, and all he did was give me a smile, that damned smile. Fast forward one term and we couldn't help but touch each other. It was so wrong but it felt so right. One day we were in the Year 7 bathroom and we got caught. It was a sad day that day but I'll never forget what he did for me.

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed

1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. In a small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Mix in the butter and fold in the blueberries. Set aside for 1 hour.A

2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve. Enjoy!
