Awesome little game for when you have an awkward amount of time on your hands. It is cheap, tiny, and easy to just leave open so you can play a quick round of an interesting game every once in a while. The shop works very well with the genre of game and the amount of hidden content is pretty big. Even if you aren't into putting yourself high up on the leaderboards, you can very well have fun for probably 40-50 hours. Some notes, the game is nearly impossible without an explicit way to "cheese" it, and is quite unforgiving. If you are trying to force a run, you better be ready to be restarting repeatedly. Some legendaries are nearly impossible to recover from getting even if they are good (Looking at you Cursed/Blasphemous Fire Wall) and I wish there was some way to play them without either just losing or putting all your boosts into another build.

Nothing builds a community like managed democracy. Helldivers 2 has captured the same magic that Mass Effect 3 multiplayer captured, and has the potential to be the best single game I have played given the responsive, well intentioned, and humble dev studio. Mistakes will be made, like the sony/psn debacle, but the devs and their community support have proven that despite being fallible, they will eventually get it right.

Never had such a productive shower in my life.
