Warning: my review is a bit spoilerific.
I loved this game. I think it's awesome in all aspects. Cool handmade art, cool point and click gameplay with no moon logic. Good voice acting. Good story, deep characters that have individual personalities and a lot to say that is interesting to hear. Philosophy with a lot of humour. Pop culture references that Gen X and Millennials will appreciate for sure. I think Ayn Rand is misrepresented, but fair enough, as villain rulers in our world often wrongly say they are inspired by her. I love Ayn Rand references in games, good or bad! The ending is very satisfying, leaving you a bit uneasy as well. You don't lose beloved characters. The only thing I didn't like is we never get to see the adorable baby sister of Proto-J again. That one scene where she is taken away made me cry.

I enjoyed this game. It's beautiful and relaxing. It's made in the style of Myst, with pre-rendered slides. It's a short, calming, contemplative game for those who like art and philosophy.

An example of a calm, simple, yet engaging and emotional experience. It's lovely that the author based it on his own real life and dedicated it to his mother and grandmother's memories. A very creative and productive way to turn grief into something beautiful. Looking forward the full release.

The negative reviews are strangely fitting with the theme of "nothing is ever good enough" of the game. The disappointment of some players is understandable. They expected Fever to be like Coma gameplay wise. It's not. It does not have all the different ways to solve puzzles. It does not have paths that get locked and unlocked according to your actions.

Fever is linear and takes you by the hand but it's very artistic and surprising. It's about the story and how it unravels. It's about the creator's insecurities and your own insecurities as a player. I found it an immersive experience and I could relate with the sentiment portrayed in the story. The meta, 4th wall breaking and games within the game were very enjoyable and well implemented.

I appreciated that inventory items were automatically selected when they could be used. It spare me falling into the trap of trying every object in everything in every scene when I get stuck. Picking up items when you have a use for them is also a good idea. The challenge is to remember where we saw the thing we now need, which makes more sense than to pick up things at random.

A beautiful story with a surprising and emotional ending. I was in tears!
It was wonderful to experience a fantasy adventure that takes itself seriously and immerses you in.
The artwork is beautiful too.
Game play is typical of point & click games with interesting and original puzzles that relate to the story.
The logic of one of the later puzzles baffled me, but otherwise it all flowed well.

I loved this little game. Graphics are a bit of an eyesore but they fit the mood well, because it's a meta, fourth wall breaking parody type of game. It's good fun and made me laugh. Puzzles make some sense and the dev was even kind enough to help me when I got stuck - I thought I had tried something I didn't. This game is better enjoyed by people familiar with Sierra and Lucasarts games and that can get all the pop references. It exploits the point and click tropes and the bad habits of adventure players brilliantly.
