Was a good game but ruined by greedy Ubisoft closing their servers and not even patching their game for it. Ubi is garbo anti-consumer company so never buy their games.

This game has always been a kusoge that became a proper fighting game because the deprieved Koreans took it seriously. Still the same overcomplicated for no reason garbage that this series has always been. Story is cringier than the worst cringy anime. The gameplay is arguably worse because the of the heat BS but overall still the same garbo for nerds who can't do frame links for proper fighting games. Graphics are pretty good and the cast is less bloated than Tekken 7 so that is good. Alsp the getup low kick not being a counterhit launcher was a good change.


I play this game because my friends play it but make no mistake I have never been a fan of the gameplay that much compared to other fighting games so I may be biased there.

Good game so far. Looks great with Raytracing max. Floor too shiny though. Full review later but so far seems really good and well-polished.

Utterly mediocre. Free games have better stories. I played it just because the start was promising but its not even worth it on a discount. Don't let the artstyle fool you, its mediocre at best and your time would much better spent on other games in the point and click genre. You are not missing anything.


The story was extraordinarily bland it felt like some non-Japanese dude trying too hard to be Japanese and filling up the game with as many Japanese tropes as possible executed in the most bland way possible.,

Yeah just like the first one. Not my thing I guess. Bullet sponge monsters are boring af to fight. Maybe resource management is just not my thing. I thought I was playing a mode where I would get ample ammo but that is a lie. Again, not my thing.

One of the best RPGs I played ever and dethrones Mass effect series for me. The combat is clunky and not that great and probably the biggest minus of the game but the rest of the game is good enough that it makes up for it. Definitely a game you shouldn't miss.

Good game but not for everyone. Extremely unintuitive and literally a gimmick-fest at the beginner levels and the game also goes out of the way to be unfriendly to newcomers. I'd say it is the Dark Souls of fighting games but even Dark Souls is fair and intuitive. One button comeback mechanics are also dumb af. As SFV is a disappointment Tekken is still the best fighting game out right now and actually has a good netcode so it is still my fighting game of choice right now.


As a fighting game fan, there is a reason most seasoned fighting game players don't like Tekken. Tekken is for Tekken fans. For most seasoned fighting game players, this game is more like a party game with endless amount of gimmicks, kinda like smash. Like why do 10 string combos even exist lmao. This game overpowers noobs, if you can't pass the gimmick knowledge check, its over. How to pass the knowledge checks? Become a f***ing nerd 🤓.


For the next Tekken, I hope they take out abusable 10-string combos (like King's), slim down the bloated cast, and minimize dumb stuff like counter hit launchers in midst of strings. In any case it will always be a party game for casualsfor 90% of the playerbase with it's catering to gimmicks and mashers which will rub seasoned fighting game players the wrong way.


Tekken has always been somewhat consistent and props to them for that, but if Tekken is the best fighting game in the scene you know fighting games are declining.


IN conclusion, If you don't want to play serious or you a tekken vet, the game is great. If you come from other fighitng games, prepare for the endless amount of cheese and random stuff like item moves and stuff that will get out the first few times at least and an pretty unenjoyable process of learning to face the gimmicks and the unintuitive ways of dealing with them.

Mediocre, not as good as the first one. Boring battles. although microtransactions got removed it's pretty obvious that the game was designed for it. Tbh I don't really care about managing a freaking army and stuff. Debating if I should quit and leave it in the backlog. Kinda tired of open world games.

The siege missions are like batmobile missons in Arkham Knight, boring time waster. Worse than the first game in every way.

Only an hour in Batmobile sequences are awful and makes me not want to play it anymore. Worst Arkham Knight game in my opinion. Debating whether I should just delete this game and move on.

I thought it would be a casual relaxed game to play and chill like the Assassin's creed series but it's actually pretty hard even on normal difficulty. Some Dark Souls vibes for sure. Overall a fun game. Will update the review after I finish it.

Edt: Just finished it. One of the best games of the last gen for sure. Worth full price imo.
