Developers wouldn't listen to players for a long time. They finally listened and brought back the fun.
Never had so many laughs while serving democracy. Highly recommended.

Short game, but cheap price.
Honestly had a tonne of fun within the 3 hours. The micro-management aspect was, at times, a bit tricky, but never overwhelming.

It left me wanting a lot more, which is a good sign. I hope the developers release a sequel with a longer experience, because I'd definitely play it.

Pros:
  • Good graphics
  • Good moment to moment gun-play
  • Varied Descendants and skills.
  • A number of activity types to play in game.
  • Pretty cool overall aesthetic to the game.
  • Anime waifu's if you're into that.

Cons:
  • Aggressive monetisation.
  • Occasionally bad latency for OCE players.
  • Mod system directly ripped from Warframe but missing some of the nuance that makes it good.
  • Some heroes need a lot of balancing / re-design to be relevant.
  • Some Ultimate weapons are not worth using, ever.
  • Shotguns and Beam Rifles are not worth using.
  • Some funny, but bad localisations (Boss named 'Greg', mod named 'Colon Special Forces', as examples).
  • Out of place cosmetics that do not fit into the overall theme of the game (Imagine fighting enemy forces and a chick in a bikini or dinosaur onesie run past you).
  • Some grind cycles are completely and utterly mind-numbing (Run Infiltrations for Amorphos, then run Shards for materials to open it, then actually open it via fighting a mini-boss).
  • Void Intercept bosses are a crap-shoot on Hard mode, with random players.
  • Heavy reliance on immunity phases in combat encounters.

I am a huge Warframe fan, so I am probably more tolerant to this game than people who aren't. Overall i recommend it, but it could use with some QoL changes which may or may not arrive.

Early Access Review
Solid game with good core mechanics and interesting premise. Unfortunately there is not enough content here to justify the price to entry, currently.

Uninteresting combat, bland game mechanics and an over priced MTX store.

Update: Developer has asked for a feed-back ticket; however I don't see the point, as I was a Beta player and the combat was no different then than it is now.

There is no weight to melee weapons. No impact against the creatures/enemies you are fighting. The animations are awkward and ranged combat (archery in particular) is visually uninteresting, slow and does not feel impactful.

If these haven't been addressed since beta they never will be.

TESO was always a good idea; but poorly executed.

Free to play but with heavily beneficial (almost mandatory) microtransactions for stash tabs etc.
But honestly I can't complain as this games really good and a few bucks to support the dev's is worthwhile.

Game is terribly optimized and has bugs that've been around since Arma2.
But it is a massive, customisable Sandbox that grants unprecedented freedom in a MilSim.

Arma3 has given me the best belly laughs of almost any game in its various MP modes.

It astounds me that the original GRiD is still, to this day, the best entry in the entire GRID series.

Single Player is great.
Multiplayer is a troll-fest full of grinding targeted at group-play and Microtransactions.

There's not much here for a solo player.
