Devs made an amazing game. People really liked it. But then the devs realized people are having too much fun and started "fixing" and removing things people liked. Oh this gun is good and is used a lot? Nerfed. Oh the railgun is doing well against titans? Oh whoopsie it was a bug, now fixed and railgun is trash now. Guys we're releasing a flamethrower themed warbond! Oh wow, I love the flamethrower, can't wait to don the new fireproof armour with it. Yeah no worries, let us just "fix" the flamethrower beforehand to make it more "realistic", there you go. Oh nice, now its useless and looks terrible, devs, can you rollback this objectively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update? No sowwy it would break other things can't do that -><-, cooool ...

Feels like I played a little over 2 hours.

Well, After nearly 4 years of using it I've found out its apparently on steam.
Time to record the ̶w̶a̶s̶t̶e̶d̶ productive hours I've put into it.

Clean!

When I first heard about this game I was kinda confused. (It was not on steam back then). So I investigated a bit. And found out that this game is SO MUCH FUN, but yet missing something.

This game is great and I would recommend buying this game on steam sale. Its gonna make you laugh a lot and even more when you download some mods from the workshop. I abolutely love it. When you play it with more people splitscreen its even more fun.

But the fact that this game was left unfinished makes me sad. Developers did some major updates. But the game still feels like it would need some polish. Not to the actual engine. But just overall. It got better, I know. But still.

Now Data Realms are focusing on "Space pioneers" which is an awesome game now in development with the 2DCrush engine. Looking foward to that as well :)

Anyway, great game, great community, great developers, but then could've made the game a bit better. :)

This game is great while you are playing with friend on a private server. If you want to play this game alone .... than its not that good idea. Mostly public servers are out of resources. You are trying to find one grass or a flint to make an axe, but before you find it its night already .... and you die ... and you became a ghost .... and ghost drops sanity of other players and without sanity they die too and become ghosts again. Wandering around hoping that someone will revive them. Because once you die in the server, you cant respawn. Unless the server restarts. And i think this is big problem,because if you are not in great region and most of the servers have a big ping or there are no players on it , than you cant play anymore. If you die on one server that have a good ping so you dont lag as hell than you are doomed.
So on public server are ghost that drop your sanity down. You cant find any resources to survive night and than you will die. And you cant play anymore.
But this game has also pros. When you DO create private server with you friend and you talk with skype or something than its fun and really different experience. And even on public servers. Sometimes you can found people who will give you some basic stuff. And you will go together and play. Sometimes you will get resurrected by someone. And sometimes you will find resources.
If you have a friend than i recommend this game. If you dont .. i dont think its worth 20 Eur. But also it still Early Access game and people who owned Dont Starve got it for free which is great. Plus this gane is constantly updated by our lovely developers and what am i writing in this review is just current problems :D. So anyway.
You have friends to play with? Buy it
You dont have firends to play with ..... wait until it will come out of early access.
