I can’t recommend this game right now based on its predatory monetization practices. Progression is extremely slow and as likely designed that way to push people into buying levels. The armors are way overpriced and you can’t even mix and match them with other sets. You are stuck with a copy and paste look of every other person with the armor set.

Its crazy to think that after having the looong break between halo 2 vista and now, Halo is finally back on the PC. I must say it has been an absolute blast to revisit Reach on this platform and I can say that it has definitely stood up well visually and game play wise compared to modern titles. There is something about playing on keyboard and mouse on an FPS that just clicks better and brings a new level to the game. That being said, if there were a couple of nitpicks to be made it would be two things. First, there are some strange bugs with the audio not scaling correctly (it sounds like everything is muffled like you have a helmet on so maybe an actual design choice?). Second, I wish it gave you more controls over the graphics settings, but it is much more understandable as the game wasn't originally built for the PC platform. Other than that, I can't wait until the rest of the titles release and I sincerely hope they continue to support it with bug fixes and playlist options. Welcome to Reach!

Abzu is a triumph of a game experience. It is one of the strongest cases in support that games are an art form. You will be awed by the visuals, delighted by the sounds, and be happy that underwater traversal is actually fun in this game. It is a fantastic way to unwind and gain new found appreciation of our world's oceans. If you have ever wanted to go scuba diving are already in love with the water, this game is a must buy.

Just when I thought I was done with modern military shooters, this game pulled me back in.

Insurgency is such a breath of fresh air to the tired military shooter. I haven't had this much fun with an fps since the days of the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or Battlefield Bad Company 2 (though this game is a very different beast)! A word of caution, slow down and check your corners! This game favors slow, methodical movement and you need to think before you decide to sprint around a corner or up a lane. Another thing that makes this game great is that it favors teamwork and while being a lonewolf can work if you are mindful of objectives, you will not be as effecive as someone who communicates with their team.

I enjoy almost all the maps this game has to offer and give big props to the devs on smart and fun map design. There is a map for all preferences of play. The firefights get real intense in this game with the maps flanking routes and sight lines and every life counts! It's not uncommon to be pinned down by a distant sniper or Lmg and having to get a team member to take them out for you or hope you can pop up and hit them before your toast. It's also common for the matches to end in intense games of cat and mouse where the faster draw or better wit comes out on top. I have already put many hours into this game and will play many, many more should the devs keep up with the great free updates. If you are looking for a fresh shooter that requires a bit of strategy on top of gun skill, this is the game for you. Keep your head down and shoot straight! See ya on the battlefield!

Tldr: Buy this game! A fresh perspective on the oversaturated military shooter and a 10/10 multiplayer experience for me!
