GOTY della Generazione!

UPDATE: completing the game plot and the entire series in a DLC is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Review updated from positive to negative.

Many improvements over the first one: more variety in the levels, the fortress, storytelling and the platforming are much appreciated BUT:

- The lack of ammunition is so annoying it almost ruins combat making it artificially difficult, find another way to make it hard please.
- Forcing the player to die in an encounter just to find where the totem or archvile are is really cheap and annoying. Also let's pretend that the purple goo was never a thing.
- Massive stuttering problems after a while of playing with my Xbox One gamepad via bluetooth

A remake of Gothic is a fantastic idea, the game is a masterpiece that needs some fresh paint so that everyone can enjoy it, THQ Nordic should absolutely invest in this.

BUT
This playable teaser is a DISASTER.

Nothing works:
1) The graphics are awful, it looks like a game from 2009
2) The art direction is also awful with few colors all over the place, ugly models and assets.
3) It runs like crap. The framerate is unacceptable for a game that looks so bad.
4) The dialogue is cringy at best, Diego is unsufferable, I don't remember to be this bad but I played the original 15 years ago.
5) The gameplay looks decent for a prototype but the combat system is not looking good.

I don't why you could have released a playable teaser with so many problems but please reboot everything because nothing is right and while super interested in a Gothic remake, I would never buy something like this.

The absolute 2019 PC GOTY

Cheaper than the 5,99 meal deal but still delicious!
10/10 would eat again.

Fantastic car destruction/racing game with no predatory micro-transactions like those modern game such as the second worst rated game on Steam, NBA 2K20 (Hopefully soon it will be the worst rated)

Style over substance. It has some neat ideas but the resulting gameplay is awful and nothing like a good arcade football game.

Bulldozer theme song by Oliver Onions in the menus. Absolutely great!
