If you are unsure about Melty Blood, watch streams or play a friend's copy before buying. This is, and always has been, a niche fighting game series with complex and polarizing game design. It offers an unique fighting game experience that you will either love or hate. While some have already written it off after 3 days, there is still a lot of discussion left for its mechanics and neutral. What appears to be just random mashing/guessing has the potential to skill testing in trained hands. In my opinion from the past few days, this is a tight and engaging entry in the fighting game genre.

Online multiplayer is fine. Kinda laggy depending on the lobby.
Offline multiplayer is great. Due to steam, multiple controllers won't work except if you launch the game in the source folder. Aside from that, it's a lot of fun.
Challenges are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when content is locked behind them and each one is just a 1v6 with advanced A.I. Make them easier or add A.I. teammates.
Campaign is meh. Nothing too exciting.
Overall, its good if you have friends.

A game that can be both fun and challenging with the wide range of dishes and scenarios.

Not a game to immediately jump into as a player needs to understand many of the mechanics in order to perform effectively for their team. However, if the majority of the team know how to play the game, it is one of the most exhilarating experiences out there.

Good game if you like micro management and/or farming.

Fun to play casually or for a challenging experience. Going for 100% was insane but worth it.

Dirty Bomb is a good class based shooter but is flawed. (as expected in a beta)
I would recommend playing it even at this state.

A few suggested improvements:
-Rhino's minigun spread is too narrow. It makes sense when enemies are up close but at mid-long range he will still do insane damage.
-Sawbone can toss med packs with no delay between each one making some character impossible to kill as the healing effects are quick. A delay between each toss would be nice.
-Need ledge grabs as some of the maps would be easier to move around if we could.
