Rusty's retirement is a wonderfully relaxing idle game and the pixel art is really well done. The achievements aren't too demanding and I was able to grind it out without worrying about it too much. I have and could continue to just watch the farm flourish all by itself. The main annoying I find from this game is that it's a little annoying to move it around the screen as I find myself rearranging windows all the time when working (the use of Fancyzones in windows powertoys has remedied this slightly). It's a slight shame that you can't switch a horizontal farm into a vertical one but that's not too bad as it just means that I just have to play the game more. I would also like if you could set the game to only take up half the screen width sometimes but that's just me using up all my screen real estate. I really enjoy this game and am exited to see what the future of this game will be like.

This game is an amazing idle farming sim and I certainly recommend it to any who are at all interested.

I like this game, it has got me through tough times by giving me a sense of accomplishment when I felt utterly useless. Sure, the gameplay is very simple and there's not much to do other than get more money but that's what makes this game great! I can easily turn my mind off and just play this game, no thinking required. And the best part? You still earn whilst offline. Cannot beat an idle game that I don't need to have open all the time. "Hoorah! progress by just existing!" ahh, makes me want to continue living.

If you enjoy seeing numbers go up, this is the game for you.

Hollow Knight is an incredible game.

I loved the worldbuilding, the art, the music. It all came together for a beautiful experience. I enjoyed exploring every part of Hallownest and its history. The characters you come across are all interesting too, each with their own story.

The main issue I had was with combat. While it was challenging, it just didn't feel too interesting at the start until you obtained more movement abilities. The dash and wall cling abilities are mandatory for traversal through Hallownest, and most bosses have these in mind, but comparing this to the true final boss, where every movement upgrade is required, the previous bosses feel lacklustre in getting the player to utilise much of the movement options. This is likely due to the game being non-linear and the only two movement options you need to reach the final boss is the dash and wallcling.

I would still recommend the game, the world was something that I really liked exploring and think others should experience.

Broken age is a really interesting game

It nicely intertwines the story of both Vella and Shay in a way that felt predictable but was still exciting. This game is heavily based around its story and puzzles. If you don't enjoy a good amount of point and click puzzles then this game is not for you.
The game really shines in the Act 1, the world building feels really nicely paced albeit a little slow, but exciting to explore, however there is quite a bit of backtracking in this game, which can feel rather tedious at times. I really enjoyed learning more and more about this world, however in Act 2 and the ending it feels all too rushed and incomplete.
That is the main problem with this game, which sits alongside some illogical puzzles near the end. I feel like this game could have benefited from a third character to explain some parts of the world's history and more into different societies that you meet. This game does leave quite a bit unexplained perhaps on purpose to reflect naivety of the characters. I finished a mostly casual playthrough within 7 hours and tidied up missing achievements within 3.5 hours. This game having a speedrun achievement felt weird to complete, however it brought to my attention how much time I spent exploring each section of the game.

The story of broken age is still wonderful and very interesting. I would give it a solid 8/10 with the negatives really being only that the some parts of the world building feel very incomplete and neglected as the story really only focuses on Vella and Shay.

I do recommend this game, but only if you enjoy point and click puzzles. (Brommel Beastender best character)

A fun way to pass four hours with a decent story.
I really like the premise and how it was executed
The 'puzzles' weren't really any challenge
Being able to act/speak as different characters was a nice difference from Subsurface Circular
The game has a few more endings than Subsurface Circular, but I was interested in all of them
Would recommend if you have played through Subsurface Circular (and liked it) and want something to pass the time.

Surprisingly there was a short story to it rather than just run and gun. It is definitely geared more towards speed runs with its 20 levels, all doable within 20 minutes (around 1 minute each). There's no upgrades to yourself to consider, just get given a gun and the ability to kick. The audio and visuals are great and fit the sort of comical style the game has going.

I would recommend this game, but only when on its 80% off on sale.
