Recent reviews by dead but only ironically

The amount of raving reviews from critics is insane. It's basically a 2 hour movie that it railroads you along with some sing-songy music. There were a few fun parts for a few minutes, but nothing that deserved the reviews it seems to tout on it's steam page.

Obviously lots of people like it but I guess I am not one of those. Glad I only paid $5, I'll never open this game again. I genuinely don't think this was worth my time.

If you're one of those weird people who likes Death Stranding you'll probably like this.

its fun

I'll never play it again since I think I actually started getting carpal tunnel towards the end, but 100%'ing this game is probably my biggest video game achievement I've ever gotten, other than master's rank in lucioball season 1 of overwatch ofc.

nice little story, spoiler: I didn't hate the ending, very somber, but I found this review that summed it up pretty well: "that running away from your problems isn’t just a psychological flight of fancy explored in a daydream or a mind palace, but a real thing you can do, and if you do it, there are consequences. Firewatch is a story about real people who take the easy way out and end up making a mess."
