Disappointing.

This is meant to be an eroge, no? So then develop it like one.
This game is a bait & switch.
All the H Scenes are just looping animations with a nut button, which you have to buy, by grinding out very boring xcom-like combat. All these H Scenes are also just fantasy, none of them actually happen in the plot (Pandora system). MOST of them don't even have a speed slider or nut button, just a looping animation with noises.
No H Scene has any dialogue, so no character interaction or growth or the expression of feelings. Just boring.
The camera controls are a gimmick; you can only pan a few degrees and zoom in/out.

I like the Galaga throwback combat. The fidelity and art direction is great. Great job; I wish we had more adult games that looked this good.

Unfortunately it looks like you guys forgot this was meant to be an eroge half-way through and cheaped out on the meat and potatoes.
If you tell me later that I need 4+ hours or more before it "gets really good"; (moving goalposts) that's still a no from me dawg.

Do not believe the screenshots. The game was designed at a hard 720p resolution and this cannot be adjusted so the game looks like a very fuzzy pixelated mess when fullscreened on any modern display. It really feels like this game should've released for Windows XP.

I just can't appreciate the art and the work put into it when it's permanently stuck at a display resolution from the early 2000s. Sorry, but I've requested a refund and onlookers should pass this one up; Mango Party has faaar better titles in their collection.

what i've always wanted in a WH40K game:
- BIG SPACE MAN KILLING XENOS
- NO ESG/DEI MORAL BS IMPOSED ON ME
- FOR THE EMPEROR

Edit 2: they have fixed a significant amount of the bugs listed below and did some pretty favorable balance tweaks, as well as fixing a lot of other bugs not mentioned. Great job!

Edit: great game aside, it has some significant bugs:
- coop/pvp loading screens sometimes just get stuck there and never progress unless you boot a party member
- the game never closes when you quit, forcing you to alt f4/task manager
- certain scripted events in coop campaign do not trigger without restarting the level (particularly the door after the forest area on the first mission with the orbital guns after you fight your first swarm)

one of the greatest mech games available right now. fast paced autism. drink water because you're gonna sweat. a lot.

Uninstalled because of Chinese censorship and the developers not doing what Azur Lane does by just censoring china's region instead of global.

A bunch of fanservice heavy outfits will be removed from the store Aug. 30th. Blatant use of FOMO to money grab before destroying their playerbase.
Consider this game dead.

I have reversed my review from negative to positive. PlayStation / Snoy reversed their decision to mandate PSN account linking.
Democracy prevails.

However, Pilestadt and Arrowhead MUST address the Community Managers' behavior and remove them from their positions. They are vile human beings.

This game was always amazing and now we can play it again. Do not listen to Sony Ponies, they only cope.

Do not buy this game. 177 countries can now no longer buy or even play the game.

I'm not linking to a PSN account.
The devs knew about this bait and switch 6 months in advance. Sony will never walk this back. The CEO of Arrowhead, Pilestadt, claims they are trying to find some kind of compromise with Sony but I just do not believe him. He knew this would happen and did nothing.
This is the greatest game to release in years, but because they got in bed with Sony, it will die quietly.
The Arrowhead GS community managers are just reddit mods; it is doubtful any of them are credentialed, licensed, or educated in PR and it shows.

Sony must be dismantled and liquidated. They are a plague to the industry and holding everyone back.

After seeing predatory DLC be continually released and now the introduction of their scummy subscription service, I cannot recommend this game be played in a legal capacity.

You're better off sailing the high seas for this one, lad. Do not give these corpo dogs what they want.
