This one is a bit strange. After finishing the campaign I think I have some things to say.

The Bad
  • Visually cluttered: This game does have some nice graphics but that often leads to visual clutter, making songs, especially on max difficulty harder. In games like Osu! or Beatsaber you have the option to reduce the visual clutter so you can focus on the harder songs. The triangle is one of the worst offenders. But if you play on normal or below this likely will not be an issue for you.
  • Changing speed: The speed of your ship (and visual distancing of notes) in this game is tied to your score multiplayer (not counting boost) - that is highly annoying. Constant speed would be way better and mistake recovery would be faster.
  • The Road: Sometimes the road curves in such a way it's impossible to see three notes ahead, relying more on the memory of the level (which I dislike greatly) - making it hard or almost impossible to finish some songs just based on the flow.
  • Crashes: The game tends to crash somewhat often. Hopefully will be addressed with future updates. But it makes completing songs in the tedious campaign rather frustrating. But hey the devs seem to care and reply to bug report threads so that's nice.
  • The Campaign: It's... okay. The story is nothing to write home about but I guess it's nice they included at least something. What I hate about the campaign is that it's sort of mandatory if you wanna unlock all of the songs and / or ship skins. It sucks when you get a string of songs you hate. The campaign was easily the most boring part of the game.
  • Song List: Most of the songs are okay. A few are good or better. Too many of them are not to my liking. But that's a highly subjective thing so you might not be as bothered by that. Plus they might release more songs as time goes on so maybe it will get better.
  • Missing Practise Mode: Missing a mode where you can play the song slowed down so you can practice it.

The Good
  • Local Multiplayer: That is an amazing feature to have. Connect a few extra controllers and just play it with friends you invited over. This is a huge plus in my book.
  • Gameplay: The core gameplay is pretty good. If they would add settings to get rid of visual clutter.
  • Age: This game is still new. I still remain hopeful about it's future. I am sure many things will be fixed as time goes on.

I might have been a bit harsh on this game. Perhaps because I like it. Despite its flaws, it is a decent game. Frustrating at times with all of it's little annoyances but I think I will keep playing it. I am sure I am going to enjoy the game more now that the campaign is behind me. And if they will fix the biggest gripe I have with this game - the visual clutter - I will make a new review that will be more positive for sure.

This is a short game that tells a faithful story of a new Garou. I enjoyed every last line of this game. I recommend it to everyone.

This game has a lot of problems. Repetitive power-fantasy combat with strange stealth system that seems to set you up to failure, extremely strange map layout and and same-y combat environments... But I still like it. I like the story it is trying to tell. There were some issues with it but I can look past most of them. That being said I don't think you would appreciate the game unless you are familiar with Werewolf: The Apocalypse already. If you are, then I recommend giving this a try. Not the best game, close to zero replay value but... I don't know. I am still satisfied with this game.

The best survival game with the best story. Worth every single penny. Don't mind the salty people saying the devs are greedy etc. They supported and updated the game for so long. It is way bigger than the original scope of the game. It has been in an active development for 9 ish years! With huge content updates. Everyone who owned the game prior to the Tales from the Far Territory release got this for free. Plus not all of the content of the DLC itself is paid. It is a huge free update as well.

Anyway, if you are looking for an amazing survival game with great story line look no further.
