This game is horribly addictive but also hard for bad reasons. A lot of mechanics have small flaws to screw you over that togheter adds up to a unforgiving and unpleasant experience. Yet I keep downloading this game time and time again just to play a few runs and then angrily uninstall it.

Buy this to get the WAD file legally and play it with GZDoom. Once you beat it a couple of times, explore the 20+ years worth of mods the Doom community still actively creates. Timeless classic.

When I was gifted this game a few years back, it was down right unplayable! I had a decent gaming laptop and I couldn't run the game at more than 15 fps with the lowest settings and a lowered resolution.

This is not the case anymore, this game has been optimized and runs very well now. I've finally been able to try it and I've been enjoying myself.

I almost exclusively play PvE games, I have very little experience in PvP and competitive gaming but this game is absolutely fantastic if you have one or two buddies to play with. The weapons are satisfying to shoot, although the hip-fire in this game is insanely inaccurate, and they look great. The aesthetic is slightly sinister and maintained everywhere, may it be in the enemy design, the maps, the skill icons or the lore. Yes, there is a lot of lore and it's fascinating to read.

Dying in the game means you lose your current character, but that's not as big of a deal as it might sound, you can always get a new low tier character for free or use the money you collected in previous games to hire a better one. Characters can be maxed out in 3-4 good games and you can always loot and keep the weapons of any hunters you defeated.

Yeah, game's awesome overall as long as you have friends to play with.

It's mostly cinematics and the little bit of gameplay in between is quite repetitive and boring. Might try it again on my PC since it crashes at mission 3 on my gaming laptop.

Timeless classic, endless fun specially with the unlimited amount of mods constantly being created. Might need to get GZdoom to play it though.

Fantastic game that kept all the best elements of the best Castlevania games.

Only downside I'd say are the bosses that are relatively easy, never requiring more than two tries to beat them without any consumables.
I'd also liked to have more puzzle rooms and unique rewards for beating the boss rush difficulties.

Aside from that, fun game with a decent length and 13 free DLC incoming that are sure to kick-ass and probably more than double the gameplay.

Malwarebytes sees the executable as a trojan injector, don't really know what's up with that.
There are a few bugs like for exemple if you reset your character while the body is on a platform that requires two people to activate, it will forever think that someone is on it. This can break the level if the glitch is done twice on a platform, it will be stuck activated forever.
Aside from that, it's a blast with friends, really fun.

Really calms the nerves, challenging at times and fun.

Perfect game to play with friends!
If you are looking for a party game to play this is your best option. Endless hours of craziness.
