It's honestly impressive how broken this game is.

By default, a guitar hero controller will not work, it took about 20 minutes just to figure out how to get it to work, and required 3rd party software, and even then it barely passes as working.

During one song (joy to the world) there was a part of the song that needed green and red to be pressed for a long note, and if played successfully, would somehow manage to disable green and red for the rest of the song. If you just didn't play those two notes and skipped the part that broke the input, they would work fine for the rest of the song until it happens later again.

Honestly, I laughed at how broken this was, and for $.49 is an absolute rip-off.
