Latest nvidia drivers, older machine (6700k, 1080ti), get between 22-28 fps no matter what settings I change, confirmed using the correct display device. Will adjust my review when the game's performance is fixed.

Good evolution on the VS formula that builds off the style of the classic aesthetic and control of D1.

There is a bug where your map progress will disappear, making your whole map blacked out again, if the game crashes at all, meaning you will effectively have to start over. The developers have known about this issue for more than a year and have not fixed it. They could also provide a simple bandaid fix of providing backed up png's of the map file for your save folder across various states of progress for players, but they have not. I will change this review upon this game breaking long term issue being remedied.

Soulstone Survivors is a visually polished game with a solid take on a long haul progression system in a VS inspired package. I haven't made it past curse II but at some point the stat scaling gets a little whacky, with AOE taking up the full screen flashing constantly from atk speed and multi-cast. Ends up obscuring the incoming attacks which is a bit of an issue. Having fun though.

God tier game, hope they patch the stuttering and optimization soon.

Every game is full of bugs or completely unbalanced, expect to get stuck, miss triggers for events, run out of ammo, be completely lost for no reason, etc.

Great game, don't sleep on it.

Game is great, 95% of negative reviews are around the queuing issue which will be gone imminently unless you've specifically chosen a zerg server.

What's here is a solid game with a lot of fun to be had. This game badly needs quick play and join session in progress to keep matchmaking alive, and an option to wait for players instead of start automatically with bots. It is an absolute blast when everything comes together though.
