An impossibly beautiful game, with lore that is mysterious yet captivating once you learn what it is. It's difficult combat is offset by the freedom of the open world; if you find yourself unable to beat a boss or area, you can always try somewhere else. The world itself is PACKED with detail. There are secrets upon secrets, and you -will- miss entire areas on your first playthrough. The monster designs range from gruesome, elegant, or straight up weird in true Dark Souls fashion. The game itself offers a wide diversity of playstyles that allows the player to truly express themselves.

In a world where developers are releasing half-baked games to satisfy a quota, Elden Ring is a breathe of fresh air as it is filled to the brim with passion and thought. I would recommend this game even at the full $60 price tag.

If you're looking for a grand ol' space adventure, look no further. Legendary Edition takes everything you loved about Mass Effect and makes it better, plus you get all the DLC content. The story is continuous from ME1 to ME3, so you can play the same character from beginning to end (highly recommended as decisions from previous games will affect the later ones). There is a lot of variance in the outcomes, encouraging multiple playthroughs.

Gameplay
The combat is mostly pretty generic but satisfying sci-fi gunfights. You can choose to be one of several classes, each focusing on or being a mixture of guns, biotics, and tech, and level up as the game progresses. Outside of fighting, the dialogue options are similar to Knights of the Old Republic (light/dark side), you can either be a hero or a gigantic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Graphics
The game runs very smoothly and looks very good overall. I mainly felt the changes in ME1 since it is a much older game, and they did a good job revamping it. Generally, all the levels looked and felt very immersive. Almost every single location was unique and well-designed, and rarely felt like there were throwaway levels in ME2 and 3. Also LENS FLARE EVERYWHERE, such beautiful.

Story
I'm not gonna say this is the best story ever, but it really puts YOU in that story, making all the big and small decisions that will impact the galaxy in some form. It was fun seeing characters reference stuff you did in the first game when you're playing the third game and so on. And lastly, I loved the fact that none of your squadmates had plot armor, they could actually all die at certain points.

Misc
Music: fantastic. Voice acting: mostly good. DLC: good.

9/10 would throw a rager at my apartment again.

I'm like 70% done with the game and I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

First of all, I've never played the original Resident Evil 2, but I've played many of the other ones, namely 4, 5, and 6. Honestly going into it I wasn't expecting much, but I ended up being completely blown away by this game. RE2 Remake is the standard that all remakes should adhere by. The entire game just felt so reminiscent of older PS1 games yet completely invigorated and modern.

What I liked most about it was it didn't try to be more than what it was. The levels weren't gigantic, but packed to the brim with detail. The puzzles were fantastic, the pacing was good, and the jumpscares felt appropriate. Most of all, the atmosphere and feeling of the levels were fantastic. It felt like the developers put a lot of love and passion into every inch of the game.

The only negative thing I have to say about RE2 is that it was too short. The initial campaign can be finished in about 8-10 hours, and the rest of the content mostly came from doing the same campaign but harder. Personally, after I experienced it the first time, the magic felt somewhat lost, and I was not motivated to complete the post-game content.

Overall, a must play for RE lovers, zombie apocalypse lovers, video game lovers.

Aside from the technical hiccups at the beginning (not being able to start the game due to Windows Marketplace), this game is still the classic RE co-op adventure we knew and loved.

PROS
-Graphics have aged very well, in fact I'd say its incredible for its age
-Co-op shenanigans are always fun
-Finding treasure and upgrading guns is still satisfying as ever
-The corny action flick plot

CONS
-Controls on keyboard/mouse are horrendous. Turning is atrocious and awkward
-Bugs are more apparent, I never had problems in the original console version but on PC there were a few game breaking ones
-The corny action flick plot

This game is pretty cool cuz once you get hit, you can get up, do your laundry, do your taxes, etc. And when you come back, maybe your opponent's combo will be done.

As my first Dark Souls experience, I would say all the hype is justified. DS3 is a no-nonsense, atmospheric adventure that pushes your abilities to the limit. Don't let its reputation keep you from experiencing this gem.

PROS
-The labyrinth style level design is quite incredible and exploration feels extremely rewarding.
-Monster/Weapon designs and environments are 10/10. Absolutely stunning visuals even on a medium grade PC.
-You can basically pick whatever weapon/style you want and roll with it. It's all about skill.
-The game can be as hard as you want it to be. If something is too hard you can still grind souls and become stronger.
-All the DLC's are very good.

CONS
-The story can kind of go over your head if you are not looking at the details. There's very little exposition.
-Sometimes a naked man will invade your world and beat you to death with a club.

This game has a very special place in my heart. It's not perfect in any sense. The battle is clunky, the storyline is pretty underwhelming, and most the planets get pretty predictable in terms of procedural generated dungeons and whatnot.

But man does this game make me feel something. For me, it was an overwhelming feeling of freedom to explore any planet on a whim, to do and build whatever your heart desires. Yet, there was always a sense of loneliness, knowing you are light years away from anyone you know. This is exacerbated by the incredible soundtrack of Starbound.

For people who are highly imaginative and can 'make your own fun', I highly recommend this game. If you're looking for an adventure with a beginning and end, sadly this is not the game for you.
