The first line says it all: it is a very accessible game.
The game consists of a number of minigames where each of them has a slightly different mechanism for generating sounds.

The atmospheric music is pleasant and calming, and the art is lovely (I am personally a fan of Carol Studzinski's art style, and got to try the game after she posted about it).

The only two buttons needed are space bar and escape key, and any controller that can be mapped to these two keys can be used to play.

Even though the game is not Steam Deck verified (yet?), it is fully playable on the Deck, with the standard mapping being Pause button as the escape key, and A as the space bar.

Time to mix drinks and change lives.
Seriously, I've been in love with VA-11 HALL-A ever since I played it on PS Vita.

It presents a really simple mechanism of mixing drinks and bartending, which is very well tailored as a complement for the story, to give you the feel of interacting with the patrons and allowing you to make a few decisions, but not complex enough to require much attention or make you nervous about making mistakes.

Can't wait for Sukeban Games' next title.

If you want a decent follow-up for either Torchlight or Diablo 2, buy this.
If you want to go casual and not have to think much, just click and go, buy Diablo 3.
