You get what you pay for. It has some bugs, but none are game-breaking, and it clearly draws inspiration from Silent Hill 1–4, along with a Resident Evil–style inventory and herb combining system. Unfortunately the game hands out far too many healing items, the jumpscares are frequent but rarely effective, and the combat is laughably bad, enemies can be two-tapped with melee, and boss fights are underwhelming due to how easily they get stuck or stun-locked, letting you spam bullets. The story is lackluster and failed to hold my interest, though it’s worth mentioning this is a short, one-to-two-hour experience made by a single dev. The aesthetics and graphics are nice, and the points shop is decent, which initially drew me in thanks to its substantial similarities to Silent Hill. Overall, the game isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either. If you want something to pass the time or an easy achievement-hunting game, the game is worth picking up on discount. :)

Low effort roblox horror ahh game

Incredibly janky, crashes a hell-ton, bindings are confusing and doesn't work most of the time, and the combat is miserable and is obviously made to be played on controller. Also, why on God's green Earth are Pyramid Head and the nurses in this game?! I paid this game on 80% discount and it's still not worth the money. If you ever feel like playing Homecoming on discount, don't. Get Silent Hill 4 on GOG and never touch this game unless you're begging for a bad time.

I don't typically play games under this genre, but I recognized the artist from Twitter and immediately gave it a try. The art style is fantastic and the story is pretty intriguing so far. Can't wait for the full release :)
