Fun puzzle game with cute art and almost endless replayability. I like that I can pick it up and put it down whenever, and that the puzzle and minigame levels allow me to play something quick and fun when I need a short break in the middle of doing other things.

Nice casual gameplay, engaging enough to want to keep picking it up but not so addicting that you can't put it back down again. A good palate-cleanser in between heavier games or when you just need to kill ten minutes.

A fun puzzle platformer, especially if you can get a dedicated group of two other people to play it with. Didn't take long to complete, but we were laughing the whole time (mostly from some of the accidental ways we got ourselves killed--thanks, physics).

Early Access Review
Obviously the game is still in early release, so there is plenty of room for improvement in terms of story and adding more areas/slimes/resources, but the graphics are beautiful, the slimes are cute, and there's a ton of fun in just exploring the world that presently exists. I'm excited to see where the team takes it from here and to be in on the ground floor (so to speak) of a new chapter in the story of Slime Rancher.

Good for long stretches of time where you just need something to do while you're binge-watching a show or movies. Doesn't require a ton of brainpower depending on what difficulty setting you're playing on, and there's a wide variety of strategies to win depending on how you like to play.

Unpacking is delightful, with just enough of a puzzle feel to keep you engaged and a story that will keep you invested. I loved seeing the character's journey through her life by the things she kept and the things she got rid of each time she moved, and I really enjoyed all of the little hidden achievements I was able to unlock along the way. It didn't take me long to finish the game entirely, but I have a feeling I'll come back to it for the warm and comforting aesthetic and the opportunity to unpack differently the next time.

This game was a gift from a friend and I really enjoyed it! There are a lot of gathering, crafting, and puzzling elements, and I really loved following all of the little storylines through to their conclusions. I especially enjoyed how the game's intended solutions are creativity and cleverness instead of just having you fight a boss head-on. I'll probably play this one again!

Strange Horticulture is a delight from beginning to end! I would characterize this as a "cozy horror" puzzle game, where you solve puzzles to discover plants, identify them, and provide them to your customers, all while being drawn into the mysterious happenings around you. Aesthetically pleasing, creative, and oddly relaxing (despite the horror aspects), with no jump scare and an easygoing, play-at-your-pace vibe. I'd recommend this one to anyone who loves to solve their way through a good mystery!

This game plays exactly like the tabletop version, but gives you more options for solo play and more challenging modes. It's visually stunning and the sound design is really satisfying. It's my new go-to solitaire game and I've also enjoyed playing it in multiplayer!

Banished is a game where you can kill time while also accidentally killing off an entire village in new and increasingly stressful ways. From freezing to death, to starvation, to fire and plague, there are plenty of ways for the tiny digital people who are relying on you to die. Explore them all today!
