I basically got it for completion reasons.
Compared to the Wounds of Eventide (The first game's DLC), it felt shallower.
Shallower, and rushed.
It basically adds the Mea Culpa sword which was destroyed in the first game, just because.
The bosses added felt lore-deprived.
The C Ending literally had me at "...What?".
Overall, the DLC doesn't really add much to the base game's experience.
If you don't care about having a perfect achievement showcase, no reason for you to buy it.

Plot-wise, the story felt weaker than the first game's, but it kept me paying attention
(mostly due to the fact that it didn't make sense regarding the lore overall).
I didn't like the kinda sloppy/lazy animated cutscenes, the artstyle threw me off immersion from the astonishingly beautiful pixel art dominating both games, and I do remember the first Blasphemous having some pixel-art animated cutscenes.
I had my fun playing it, but personally I don't think it touches the perfection of the first game.

Not what I expected.
Initially it got my attention but I realized it's mostly a boring fusion
of Amnesia and Mad Father and my interest died quickly.

Fun game, nice art, FULL of cats, true to its title.
Adopt, don't shop, and give a chance to sick and old cats to find a home.
As a cat mom of one elderly and FIV positive cat, I adored this game.
Buy it, and support cat shelters!

The base game was one hell of an experience and the Joyful DLC tore my soul apart.
Wholesome and tear-jerking.

Cute art, relaxing puzzles, nice game for killing time.
Managed to play it with one hand, which is good!

I enjoyed the game for the luxury it gave me to play/pick characters I adored from anime I've watched.
I do find its in-game story a bit poor, however, as if it was rushed in order to be released on time.
I do understand that it's an anime-character-overhaul type of a game, but I expected something better.
It sure is an absolute delight to be played with friends on VS matches, at least, for me that was the reason I bought it in the first place regardless of the videos and reviews downvoting it.
I'm happy I still have it in my library, and I enjoy the VS matches with my friends regardless of me bitterly losing.

I'm a huge fan of the first game;
do yourselves a favor, however, and play the second game first if you're interested in the lore
(play the mobile game and read the comics as well-
not really, who has time for that?)
.

If you don't care about the lore, just play this one because the story made absolutely no sense in regard of the events of the first game and how the latter ended.
Story-speaking, it constantly had me at "why" and "how".
Game-play-wise, I encountered a lot of glitches, clipping through narrow spaces when escaping was crucial at the moment, lots of annoying moments which felt as if the game was punishing me for not being adequately fast to react, making the whole experience a lot less fun in addition to restarting the chapter/from the last checkpoint.
The first game was challenging but enchanting, mesmerizing, horrifying, had me in a heartbeat.
This one felt as if it's still lacking something, even the horror of it had me at "meh".
Didn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

We need more original and artistic games like this one.
I once saw Markiplier playing "Discover My Body" and thought
"Hey, Growing My Grandpa's art style bears a resemblance to it"
and I was so happy to discover it's from the same dev!
The horror was sublime and mind-toying, the art was beautiful, the mechanics simple.
Brilliant way to pass the time and have genuine fun with a horror game.

I saw Markiplier playing this game during a Mandela Catalogue gaming spree and I was so glad to find it on Steam
(got it on sale).
It has discreet psychological horror that stings, and I really enjoyed it.
No jumpscares, just messing with your head.
Playing this with headphones and lights off adds a lot to experience.
