Normally I can pick up and play a DLC without looking up a some kind of focus tree guide. It's a game, it's supposed to be fun, it's not supposed to be min-maxxing all the time.

I tried two games - nonaligned Iraq and Iran - and both experiences were genuinely terrible. At one point in my Iraq playthrough, I was in a war with Iran - a complete stalemate, our borders didn't change at all - and an event fired that let me puppet Iran completely without any change in warscore. Then UK and Soviet Union immediately declared war on me because Iran was suddenly my puppet. This. Isn't. Fun.

Iran was similarly mind-boggling. I got a nonaggression pact with the Soviet Union via a focus, then the soviet union promptly cancelled the pact in less than a year. So what was the point of a full-ass 70 day focus??

DLC is bad. Do not buy.

good game, barely played it

I played this game four years ago when it was in beta. I played it again today. Literally nothing has changed. Twitch, fast paced shooter as always. Boring. Repetitve. Enjoy if you like that kind of thing.

Quite possibly one of the most charming games I have ever played.
