Pretty crazy to experience how far the tech has come from playing the first ratchet and clank back in the 00s on the ps2 and to see where it is today. Strongly recommended if you want yet another familiar adventure.

Went "huh, haven't seen this fun gameplay since playing the Max Payne series" at some point. Turns out it's the same guys. Love how you are dropped in the middle of events and that you have to find everything out (the less you know, the better), and how the plot surely but steadily unfolds. The gameplay is good, but after finishing the main story, it starts feeling a bit routine, and wasn't that motivated to carry on with the DLC. The base game was plenty the first time around, at least.

I really enjoyed how this is playable within 5-6 hours, and spends your time really well. Solid controls, stunning environments, and ended right when it should. And love the various game references!:D So much character in these odd robots!

The story is ok+, but gets a bit dragged out if you do all the sidequests and challenge tombs.

Overall incredible set design with temples, cities, and the jungle. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive a bit too quick in my opinion, and the stealth gameplay is rarely a rewarding path when you can just as well shoot everyone alot faster without any consequence.

It's also a tad glitchy at times, but not so much that it stopped from playing it all the way through.

Loving the simplicity, and the experience. Not your usual game, and it is a breezy 10-15 minutes leaving me wanting for more!

Can also recommend checking out the developer commentary. Really cool to get a bit of insight into the gamemaking progress, and especially the 3D-modelling montages were insightful!

Loved how incredibly stylish it is. And how absurd it is, reminds me of Jazzpunk!

Demanding, but rewarding gameplay. There are multiple sections in the game where you will be stuck for possibly hours trying to figure out how to defeat certain bosses, but the feeling of figuring out and mastering it never gets old. Love the level designs, the lore, and the overall feel.

As for negatives, one is that it is difficult to figure out exactly what consequences the few story choices you have in the game are. There are multiple endings, and some of them are so convoluted to reach that I struggle to see how you would figure it out without a wiki afterwards.

But Sekiro first and foremost is a gameplay centric game, and in that regards, it is absolutely awesome. Nice that it priortizes storytelling through the environment, instead of being overly reliant on cutscenes.

Makes the original Doom look like Sunday school.

-> Keeps the spirit of the original Doom.
-> Fast-paced gameplay.
-> Guns. Lots of guns.
-> Awesome soundtrack with lots of homages to the original.
-> Gory. Do not play in front of your grandma.

One of the most stylistic, elegant, and simple puzzle platformers I've played in quite some time.
Gruesome too.
