This game is so unbalanced it's hilarious.

Playing a heavy mech and a competent Welkin is near you? Enjoy a guaranteed death.

Playing a sniper and a competent Falcon is chasing you and being untargetable because of the evade spin? Enjoy a guaranteed death.

Having hard counters in a game with like 10 mechs to chose from with a blind pick system is actually just mental.

Story is pretty well told, but gameplay sucks. Probably tons of people over-analyzing the plot when it's pretty straight forward.

This game is a huge C&C universe reference and that's super cool. Too bad it's unplayable.

Every mission has been pretty boring and tedious so far with most of it just abusing equipment. That's honestly fine since I played and enjoyed FE3H which had pretty boring gameplay but the characters/story was worth it. The problem here is that they have a very boring mission has a surprise boss fight at the end that pretty much requires you to have these taunt dolls to make it not RNG. I couldn't divine this boss fight and used the taunt dolls already since they replenish after a mission so it saves actually consumable supplies. I'm not replaying the mission again. This is just dumb.

That's not even the first time. There's a mission before this where you need to move to a certain spot but it's defended from the north and south by turrets. You can disable only the north or the south turrets, not both. I chose the south ones thinking I could come in from the south and avoid the northern turrets... Turns out you can't because of impassible terrain that was made clear when I moved closer a few turns later. The ONLY way to finish was to disable to northern turrets. Why does this exist? Who knows. Just to screw with you.

It's just not really fun, and I'm even a puzzle game enjoyer. The problem is when the game throws a bunch of options at you, but actually the way you picked doesn't work not because you screwed up, but because the game trolled you. This is just a waste of time.

Boring

In its current state, it's probably the best ARPG out there because of the buttery smooth gameplay and (surprisingly) well-balanced gear progression.

Blizzard should still burn to the ground though.

Unbalanced in a bad way where you basically just have to pray that you get good cards.

If you're having fun great, but I've played enough PVE coop shooters and this really isn't anything special except for like the first hour of "hey it's starship troopers!" feeling.

It's a blessing to see a good ARPG finally come out given that the landscape has been dry for over 20 years.

As for server issues, even competitors like POE that's done league upon league for the past decade can't figure it out too. It's honestly a testament to how awesome the dev team is that a new ARPG like LE can come out of the gates with more players than POE (yes I did include the 5 people playing without steam launcher) and still function.

You can also play offline, which has been unheard of for at least the past decade. Remember when people cried that D3 was online only? I remember.

Server issues are temporary. Good games ran by good people are eternal.

First they release a Blue Reflection gacha game with a male self-insert MC, and now they release an Atelier gacha game with a gutted alchemy system (it is a gacha game after all).

Keep up the good work.
