Really specific, not for everyone production that tells really deep, intriguing and intresting story that can be interpreted in many different ways. No mechanics other than walking, so it can be describe as virtual walking in mind, which is both a journey and an attempt to understand story contained in this game. This may be a good recommendation for those looking for deep, unclear, metaphorical and philosophical journey. At the same time, it seems to be bad recommendation for someone looking for action in games, but even despite this, since it's doesn't take long to finish, i think it's worth giving this hidden masterpiece a chance.

A short but very intriguing production in a writerly style. I think it can be a good recommendation for someone looking for a dramatic story with a pinch of horror.

Good visual novel with many choices.

I am not a gamer. I wouldn't be able to call myself one because of the short time I spend in front of the computer (at most a weekend or, to put it in general terms, a small gamer). For this, it surprises me all the more that the game can be so delightful. The plot is first class, I can't remember when the story of any TV series, movie or book I've been familiar with in recent times has been as good as the story contained in Metro Exodus.

I don't know how much the developers adapted the book on which the game is based. In any case, I am convinced (by virtue of the fact that I like to read) that I would like to read the Metro series in the future. Coming back to the game itself, I haven't played the previous versions and I don't know if their plot will be as good as that of this masterpiece, but I'll certainly give it a try in my spare time.


The graphics of the production stand at a high level, which should not be surprising. Of course, it also has flaws (actually many, which fortunately did not bother me in the game itself). Flying elements in the air and enemies that can see us through the wall. By the way, I point out that I played the game in the original edition, instead of the Enchanced Edition, and as far as I can tell, all bugs (or at least most of them) have been fixed, in any case I haven't verified this, so I'm focusing only on the original edition.


More than once I fell into the water for this reason. At the same time, I will point out that it often ended in death, however, I found a solution (which seems logical), namely frequent quick saves. As for the underdog itself, I am of the opinion that the developers should take more care of this element, of course this applies to all games. Instead of creating invisible roadblocks, you can create roadblocks, but visible ones, (e.g. walls so high that the player no matter what player does cannot cross them).


At certain points in the game, we can feel the atmosphere of the people around us. Simply going out for a cigarette and talking to others are things that, despite the harsh circumstances for the characters, sometimes add chill in certain situations. Of course, it doesn't stop at smoking cigarettes and talking, as we can play the guitar, listen to the radio and have a drink. Seemingly simple little things, but the game wouldn't be the same without it.


I could list more things included in the production. I divided my review into advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, there are definitely more advantages than disadvantages. One could really go on for a long time about it, as there are many more elements to discuss. Nevertheless, I will refrain from writing a review that could, in terms of content, be contained in a small (because small), but book. In any case, I definitely recommend the production, as it is worth your attention. It can make you think, which is something that most works (not just games) fail to achieve.
