The game had a rocky start but is amazing, devs are top bloke... However if SONY wants to step in and ruin everything by demanding players use PSN account, which is notorious for data breeches, and denying players from over 170 countries the ability to play a game they purchased on Steam... They're actively sabotaging the war effort and we will not stand by it. Unless SONY retracts their decision, do not buy the game.

10.05 update:

SONY retraced their decision of demanding PSN account linking, for now. However, 177 countries (now 180 since they banned it in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) still have no access to the game. People were to quick to celebrate; yes, you can still play the game but your fellow Helldivers from 180 countries still can not. Unless SONY retracts THAT decision, it's still a no from me.

I absolutely adore this game. The soundtrack is perfect for the setting and it's fairly well synced with all the things you and enemies do. The artstyle is beautiful with comic-like cutscenes. The core gameplay is great and you really get a full freedom of choice regarding how you want to approach the game. Some weapons work better in certain situations but that doesn't limit your choice. You want to run a shotgun and an explosive crossbow? Go ahead! My one issue, which may be because of my lack of experience with this type of games, is that in the later levels it can turn into a real bullet hell (pun intended). For a ~7 hour game it's a solid one.

ICEY is a mix between Stanley's Parable's idea of having a narrator which tells you (which you don't have to follow) what to do and a side-scrolling hack-and-slash. At first I wasn't too much into it but after giving the game a second try I can fully admit that it's a great combination. ICEY has multiple ending, most of which are just for giggles but the secret one is bound to make you... it's both sad and happy. The combat feels pretty fluent and I can only suggest trying the game yourself. Overall I had a great experience with it. Only minus is that the game is really short. Solid 8/10

Fajne połączenie Hack&Slash'a i TPS'a :)

Jeżeli ktoś lubi gry typu Tower Defence oraz FPS to bez wątpienia musi zagrać w tę grę. Szczerze polecam :D
