Don't expect a guns blazing, nuclear attack imminent, "call of duty" setting.
More of a tactical shooter game with a John Wick flavour. While the menu and story give off a "Matrix"(the movie) vibe.
Aim is king, as is Ammo conservation. Thinking outside the box will be needed for some levels.

This game started out as a browser game and has become a fully fledged stand-alone title with mechanics that are truly unique to any other shooter.

Back when it was a browser game you could give them your E-mail and they promised that big things were coming.

5 years down the road they kept their word and gave me both of their "real" games for free!

Having played the first chapter at review time I can whole heartedly recommend this game!

Full of glitches and it's been 4 years.

Bethesda has no frame cap settings and no way to turn off V-Sync if the game had one or the other it would be fine. Instead I spent 3 hours trying to troubleshoot the countless glitches I encountered.
The underlying cause is that the game is meant to run close to 60 fps.
Meaning if ur PC can handle more than that in my case 170 FPS the game will run at 2x-3x speed constantly.

In order to fix that you have to edit the .ini files turn off V-Sync and then download a frame rate capper based on your graphics card manufacturer. Tedious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that could've been easily averted if Bethesda had given a quarter of a ♥♥♥♥.

Now my game is playable but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of issues remain, unrelated to the major issue stated above, completly breaking immersion every 30min I'd say.

I Pre-ordered this game with the season pass and was utterly dissapointed at release and still am now that i tried playing it again.

If ur willing to do the developers job to some extent you could buy this game, but for the way Bethesda has treated its playerbase I would'nt recommend supporting that kind of business model.

This game needs certain mods aswell, but that will block you from getting achievments for anyone concerned.

Don't buy it. There are a lot of better alternatives out there.

Great game!
Of my 7 operatives only 1 survived the final assault.
Truly heartwrenching when ur fav operatives die for the cause of freedom.
War of the chosen is a must buy with this game.

I recommend it 10/10 some animations might be weird but thats very seldom, upgrades are hard to get and difficult to get the hang of at first but the ending made my opinion final.

It's a great game and I cant wait for any addition to the series, get it if u like tactical gameplay.

-Game itself is great (Weapons, Rules, Fighting etc.) but i hardly scratch above 60 FPS with my GTX 960 and 16GB RAM.

-Game is still buggy as ♥♥♥♥. Cant even count the amount of times i died because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Car flips for no godamn reason, Glitches, Serverside lags, Car gets stuck in a wall and explodes etc.

-The cars are made of rubber and weigh as much as a feather making driving a sweat draining experience. The smallest incline will send you to the moon

-Shotguns don't consistently kill close range (someone right next to you) and sometimes kill people over 20m away.Which is fun

-Some attachments seem to be useless (e.g. compensator on Sniper Rifles)

-PUBG Servers are worse than most Ubisoft servers.

-There's no report system, and yes there are Cheaters i have encountered 3 of them. one had aimbot, one could shoot through walls, and one was able to fly, yes really(I did hear that Cheaters get banned, how im not sure)

-But i like the developers they have been shoving out updates with new stuff every month and this is still the Alpha Stage, I'm confident they will adress the current issues within the next few months.I just wish they would focus on the stuff thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up right now (Performance and Servers) instead of adding more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up stuff e.g. Motorcycle which has a 10% chance to glitch all over the map when it falls over

The game lacks at every corner.

Everytime I play it, I think of how CIV 5 was better.

There are bugs for example that ruin multiplayer. (invincible Orbitallaser over water)
The game also sometimes just reloads for no reason so that sometimes you or your opponent get 2 turns.
Sometimes when it reloads the bot made a turn for you resulting in a disastrous situation for yourself.

Don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy this,
get Civ 5
If you have Civ 5 stick to that.
