Pass on this title if you're a genuine Racing Game/Automotive fan, it's a cash grab and feels like it should of been a free-to-play project instead. It was eventually abandoned by the Developers and hasn't seen an update or bug fix since September 2022 as far as I'm aware and the people picking it up either for the first time or to generally kill time, as well as the Discord community for it, are the only reason it's really even alive still.

If that doesn't scare you off, pick this up on sale when it's a few dollars like I did.
It's an okay little PS2 styled Arcade Racer with a handful of issues but I've seen worse stuff on Steam.

Pros:
- It's fun for a few hours, you get to race around a decent PS2 style Osaka Loop.
- There's a good chunk of classic Tuner rides to pick from.
- Decent customization, Engine Swaps and Bolt-on parts to pimp your ride.
- Police actually chase you, which is really neat to see in a small game like this.

Cons:
- Developers abandoned the project after an update in 2022.
- Traffic is Clientside. (If you're racing someone and you hit a truck, the other person won't and will keep going)
- There's a few holes in the map, collisions can be strange and there is weird issues sometimes. (I once was able to drive upside down, Australia DLC confirmed?)
- The Drifting can be fun for a bit BUT it's basically pointless to even have in the game as it doesn't benefit anything nor handle as great.
- The anime characters are just for looks, they serve no actual purpose and you can't see them anywhere but the vehicle select/garage.

I picked this up from Humble Bundle way back in 2017 where you could get the entire Arma series (at the time) for just $20 and I don't regret that purchase one bit.. The only thing I DO regret, is not getting into this game's community and playing it seriously until about 2019-2020 and boy, did I feel I missed out on some good times!

From checking out the very end of the popular Altis life server phenomenon to eventually my favorite activity of small-team coordinated and tactical night raids hunting for Terries on Lythium and draxx'in them sklounst, to watching an AC-130 as a Squad Lead keep a town of 30+ U.S. Army Rangers safe from dozens and dozens of incoming QRF and even going to war with my good pals in a PVP setting somewhere deep in the African country-side with 150 other players all riled up on energy drinks and whatever else, this game captured my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heart and still has it to this day after nearly 1,300 hours!

If you've never played the Arma games before, you should MOST DEFINITELY pick this up and seek out your nearest Milsim unit and or recruiter IMMEDIATELY via r/FindAUnit, it will be an absolute game changer. I highly recommend.
