ohhhhhh so u think ur country cool huh??? nah nah sit down brat, lemme tell u smth REAL. bulgaria ain’t just country, bulgaria is like... feeling in soul. u wake up, u hear rooster scream like he in rock band, u smell banitsa from neighbor’s kitchen, u already know it’s gonna be legendary day. no stress, just old dude yelling at pigeons in town square while drinking rakia from re-used Fanta bottle. THAT’S life bro. in bulgaria we don’t do “plans” we do vibes. u say u leaving at 2? ok, so u show up at 5 and no one mad. u go to grandma house for “quick snack” and she give u seven courses, lecture about socks, AND extra bag of tomatoes. u try to leave and she say “u hungry” again. u never win. food win. baba win.
everything in bulgaria just hit different. rain feel like story, wind whisper ancient nonsense, every cat outside got attitude like mafia boss. u go out for bread, end up in 4-hour convo with stranger who tell u how he almost became astronaut but stayed cuz of cow. u nod, u understand, even tho u don’t. that's just how it go here, brat. don’t talk to me about “nightlife” if u never danced barefoot on cracked pavement while chalga blastin so loud it shake stars. don’t talk about “tradition” if u never seen dude wearing fur hat in july scream “eeeeeeei” while slapping drum at wedding he not invited to. we got uncles that grill meat in snowstorm and act like it's summer picnic.
