This game is incredibly fun, intuitive, and a great revival of the budokai series IF you have absolutely zero interest in playing online. If you ARE interested in playing online, especially if only online, DON'T BUY IT!!!! about 80% of steam players right now cannot even load into an online match including myself. You just get a communication error right as you're about to load in and get disconnected, even in custom matches with your friends. A decade has passed and Bandai still has not produced a single game with reliable online multiplayer. Only they know when it will be fixed so we're at their mercy. I recommend just waiting a few months to buy it and maybe they'll have it fixed. All of that aside this game has problems like spamming AI and some bugs but nothing that would make me say the game isn't worth buying if the online worked. Do buy if it gets fixed :D

This game does a very good job of doing what it's supposed to do. It makes you very anxious, it makes you think about everything overly hard, and it scares the stew out of you on numerous occasions. If you watched a youtuber play this game as a kid I'm sure it holds all of the nostalgia you hope it holds. While this game is fairly short if you're adept at puzzles, after you get the secret ending, it contains a difficulty above normal called "extra" which is the entire game again but with completely different puzzles and is significantly more difficult. This is my favorite horror game of all time and I hope that other people will get the same enjoyable experience from it that I have. The only problem with the game is that it absolutely breaks when trying to speedrun it. If you have any interest of speedrunning this just go play the original, not mv. This version is notoriously awful to speedrun. When spedrun this game will consistently drop inputs, lag animations, and various other things you never want to occur during a speedrun. Other than that, this game is a wonderfully scary experience if you're looking for a sort of puzzle, horror, rpg maker experience. If you're actually looking to be terrified go buy and play Aka Manto. This game is worth more than the $15 I paid for it and I wholeheartedly encourage you to get it! Have an awsum day friends!! <33
