This is a disappointing port, especially for the price. Controls are clunky, sound is terrible and it really isn't enjoyable to play, especially after running through RDR2 again, in preparation. There's no reason this shouldn't have been remastered on the RDR2 engine.

This game is off to a good start. It is early access and that definitely shows in some areas. The Stamina/Sleep/Hunger system needs a lot of work, the combat is pretty simple and the game needs some serious optimization. All too be expected from early access games so lets not dwell too hard on those things. My biggest issue is that this game has to be online all the time and the servers are pretty weak. Not sure why this needs to be always online, but that's what we're stuck with. All in all, would recommend, especially later on when things are a bit more polished and, perhaps, there is offline solo play. Until then, its safe to hold off on the game if you don't plan on growing with it.

Rockstar's best game. What else is there to say that hasn't already been said?

Disappointingly short story. This probably should have been a DLC for the first game than anything else. Didn't really connect with any of the characters either. Largely due to Miles not being "my Spider-Man." Still, a good game with smooth combat and movement. Worth the $50 bucks? IMO no, but that's for you to decide.

Cyberpunk Diablo 2. What's not to love? Seriously, though. The controls are smooth, action is well paced and the story, from what I've seen of it so far, is interesting. Well worth the price of admission so far.

If you're feeling nostalgic for the old NES days of gaming, you're in for a treat here. Rock solid gameplay with levels that offer a hearty challenge while rarely relying on the same thing twice make for a fun gaming session. Couple that with well written and often hilarious dialog, stunning graphics, and a phenomenal soundtrack and you have the timeless classic that is Shovel Knight.
