Grand daddy of all settler/colony management games. Few games are as system intensive as this one and that's why it thrives.

What other game lets you prop your sister up as the Empress of China and then lets you marry your sister's daughter?

I paid a pretty penny for this game and its DLC. It's now free. All the more reason for people to try out this game as the base game is amazing on its own. If you have friends that own other DLC, then you don't need to own those DLC to use them in multiplayer. The DLC all add something that enriches the existing gameplay.

Been a fan of this game since 2011. It's insane how the developers continued to find ways to update this game and add hours of gameplay. Incredibly fun with friends, the amount of content available is absolutely astounding. It's hard to imagine that this game used to be called "2D Minecraft" when Terraria outperforms Minecraft in every aspect.
