The story and characters are really good. The game play is the weakest part and is more spectacle than complex or challenge. It didn't bother me but I was playing more for the story than anything else.

Pretty decent 20-ish hour game where that play time is definitely a pro. It's not "Dark Souls but Star Wars" like I was led to believe going into it. It's more of an action-adventure exploration game similar to Metroid or Castlevania.

Everything in the game works fine 95% of the time, but there will be seconds where the platforming or combat just do not want to cooperate and it really took me out of it. Combat is probably the weakest aspect of the game. Trying to play this like a Souls game or even like Sekiro isn't going to work well. The parry timings are really weird and most of the enemies have hyper armor/poise in their animations. Fighting against multiple melee enemies can be pretty lame and getting surrounded is pretty much a death. You get abilities for fighting large groups of enemies, but you have no hyper armor/poise in your animations so any incoming attack will cancel your AoE attempts.

The bosses are all fine, as is the story. Decent game to pick up on sale and play over the course of a weekend.

This game is a very good open ended base building game. One of the biggest draws for me has to be that the main 'quest' in the game doesn't have to be followed for you to have fun with the game. Rimworld is advertised as a game that creates stories and after 300 hours, I really understand that. Spending hours on a base, then to have some terrible event happen and wipe it out doesn't really feel like a 'loss' but a nice conclusion to the story of the base.

A big bonus to the game is the modding capabilities you have with the Steam workshop. There are thousands of mods that cover just about anything you'd want. There are a lot of them that are 'lore' friendly and almost seem like miniature expansions to the game. I recommend the Vanilla Expanded series of mods after you've had you fill of the vanilla game.

Far Cry 5 is definitely a game that exists. I bought the game heavily on sale, $10-15, and I can't say I'd recommend anyone to buy it for more than that price. If you do buy the game, definitely try to restrain yourself from the microtransactions for premium currency in this single player game.

The story centers around a man, Joseph Seed, leading a Christian cult full of drug-addled loons that is part Jonestown and part Waco. Joseph servers as the main antagonist and his siblings, John, Jacob, and Faith, serve as the minor antagonists. You work to free Hope County from this evil cult.

The game is an open world FPS game, just like all of the other Far Crys. However, even at it's best, the game is puddle sized in depth. It boasts 5 zones, although 1 is a tutorial island and 1 is the final boss's island. While the game can be completed by doing any of the main 3 zones in any order, there is 1 that you are guided towards in the beginning.

I followed the game's suggestion and went to the first zone, Fall's End. Fall's End is the zone where John is the antagonist and is by far the best zone in the game. While it is the best zone in the game, it definitely starts to lose its shine thanks to the repetitive combat loop and lackluster character progression system. The zone's saving grace is that John is by far the best minor antagonist in the game and the only one that fits the crazy Christian cultist theme.

The combat loop of the game is very simple as all you really do is point and shoot with different weapons. The game isn't quite a bullet sponge style game, so the choice of weapons really doesn't make much difference on how an enemy encounter will play out. You really are just better off picking whatever guns you find most visually pleasing.

The character progress is downright lame. The perk system in the game has a couple active skills, but mostly serves to give the player passive such like 5 different perks that just increase ammo capacity for different guns. Despite this, the player becomes quite over powered quickly due to this and not in a way that feels rewarding or fun.

After finishing the first zone, I move on to the next one: Whitetails Mountains. This is by far the worst zone in the game and is incredibly vertical. This provides no difficulty or challenge as the game throws so much money at you, that you can buy an attack helicopter as soon as you step foot in the zone. The zone's antagonist, Jacob, is also the worst. Almost completely abandoning the Bible quoting theme shown so far, you get to fight a PTSD riddled Iraq war veteran who's dialogue is the phrase 'CULL THE WEAK' on repeat.

It feels to me that the amount of effort or time to put into developing the game was in short supply after the first zone. The second zone is awful and the third zone, Henbane River, isn't much better. While the layout and geography of this map aren't terrible, the quests and objectives of it are. The objectives of this zone all rely a lot on random spawns and collectibles that serve as busy work (you can buy a map in game that just shows you where they all are anyway). Faith, the zone's antagonist, also disregards the Christian cult theme and just wants you to huff datura leaves with her. She does have an alright boss fight at the end of the zone.

Finally, after about 30 hours, I reached the fight with Joseph Seed. It sucks, it isn't fun, and the ending is just kind of stupid.

tldr:
-Combat's boring
-Character progression's lame
-Many quest objectives are okay at best
-Lame collectibles that only serve as padding with no rewards
-Characters are boring
-Ending sucks

This is a fun game for fight mans.

I am big BIG fan of fight mans like Goku and Vigita. You can fight as them in this video game! You can even make your own fighting man to fight other players around the world in fights at your favorite fighting location. The story in this fighting man game is very nice because you get to play as your own fighting man that you created and go join your favorite others like Gohon and Trunk in their fights from the cartoon that I watched but it doesn't happen the exact same way because now you are there to help them.

The fight is fast and you punch with speeds that are really fast and there hurt really bad! There are also big, brighter lazer that you can shoot or small, many lazer you can shoot and hurt the other man. But if you don't want to, you can just punch instead of lazer.

Over all, I would recommend this video game for anyone who know of Goku and his best friends who fight each other and like them. It is very punchy and kicking that is FUN!

This is honestly the buggiest, worst, peice of ♥♥♥♥ game I've ever played.

You can't even land your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ space ship to do anything. And then, if you manage to somehow land, you can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do anything because you're stuck in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ship. I had to crash my ship to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make a hole to get out from and then I died getting out. How anybody without extreme autism is able to play this game is beyond me.
