Dying Light 2 is the first decent game of the new year. In my personal opinion.

In short, I liked everything about this game. The storytelling, and the mechanics, and the atmosphere, and other constituent elements. This is just a chic project, in my eyes, for the beginning of this year! Ready to dive deeper and deeper into it!

Parkour, parkour and more parkour...
There are not many decent games with this mechanic. Maybe there are almost no games with this mechanics...
In the new part, parkour is implemented quite well, there are no difficulties, reaction and responsiveness are on top. I would say that almost 100% works as it should.
Plus, new movement mechanics bring only pleasure!
And the combat in combination with this mechanic is generally an excellent thing! Running like a carved, crushing evil spirits, accidentally dropping your carcass on it from a height - yes, this is what you need...
But this is not all that can describe and evaluate Dying Light 2.

Storytelling in comparison with the first part looks alive, cheerful, does not get bored. Yes, the scenes of action are expected, but this does not spoil the game in any way. The story of the game is quite simple, but nevertheless, the interest is not lost from this. I'll be honest, I did not pass the first part of this game because of the story. After a couple of hours, he made me bored, ran for another couple of hours, and the game disappeared from my computer. But in Dying Light 2! There's no such. So far, I have not regretted a single one of the hours I spent. If it weren't for work... I would have been playing all day long!

The picture in the game is quite pleasant, there are no more dull colors, as it was in the first part. The game looks colorful, but it also gives an understanding that beauty is deceptive, and not everything in the game world is so beautiful. Yes, yes, the infected have not gone away! You can admire the beauties, but don't forget that you can also get hit on the head from behind... The atmosphere is conveyed very well. The ambient that follows throughout the game does its job.

In DL2 you will feel the horror genre better. All these premises, laboratories, hospitals, subways and other locations will not let you breathe normally. Feel the tension. Any of your wrong actions can lead to death. You need to think carefully before doing something.

Crafting elements, character upgrades, skills - everything looks very simple. I like it. You never have to bother: what to do with it, and how to deal with it, and why all this... Due to its simplicity, the game allows you to enjoy the story and the rest of the gameplay without killing too much time searching for resources.

There are a few other mechanics in this game that I haven't mentioned... But it's better for you to face them personally!
You will not be disappointed!!!
