This game is painfully aware of the player's experience, harsh and unforgiving, anxiety-inducing, and among the greatest delights I have played in years. It manages a woeful story that hinges on the behaviors and choices of the player, creating an atmosphere that causes you to second-guess everything other RPG games have taught you.
