This sd is far more better than sr X. Although X has a good try for magic and melting story characters, but the basic playing rule design is miles away worse then SD, which means SD has very nice key setting system and has very opened custom designing system for both characters and robots, which is more, SD has full 3D modelling and shading robots, not like sr X having only 2D mapping 3d models.

Firstly, pc version has a key setting problem, which means the most frequently used key, left mb and enter, cannot be reset. This forced player has to lay both hands on board very long time or frequently change one hand position. Not good for srpg game long time playing.

Secondly, 3D moddeling employed low resolution ratio 2D mapping which cannot fit well enough with 4K screen, which is definitely worse than their Gundem game full 3D moddeling.

Lastly, X has very solid story line, in which many nice robots can only be used very few times, which is worse, Not even in the replay games. the line and the robots are all solid for ever.

too many fighting elements removed from the original design. soldiers do NOT engaged at all when they meet. completely backward rework. not worthy at all for the price.

has some hardware problems and local text displaying problems. Truly a little disappointed.

Good Try of change the army maintaining system, but it is definitely not comprehensive enough for a total war game. However, it is still good for learning some history while having fun.

This is definitely one MileStone work of CA. it breaks the old game mode of total war, which means it adds hero concept at the active time battle level and adds hero edu RPG concept at the strategic game level. this change is a call of currently better and better PC hardware trend and development. It actually will change the single game mode design mode in the past and it will also cause games in the future contains more comprehensive contents and experiences for players.
