If you enjoy Arcade games; specifically grew up with them, or love rebooted classics like Tetris Effect or Pac-Man Championship DX+, you'll enjoy this game. It has Old arcade games such as Asteroids, Pac-Man, Centipede, Tempest and a couple of other games-themed as secret levels. It has adaptive audio and beautiful visuals. Its an adrenaline rush especially on elite difficulty. Some levels are really hard, especially the one that looks like a drawing of a small intestine called 'Nefetari Collar' ♥♥♥♥ THAT LEVEL

Its the only Luxor game on Steam that has achievements and cloud saves (Cloud saves are used for high scores and progress) You have the added benefit of resuming from where you left off.

Really great game.

The one downside is that you cannot pick a level and play it. You have to play it from start to finish just like old arcade games.

Seriously the worst fighting game I have ever played (I have played Guilty Gear Isuka and the NEO GEO version of KOF 2002 on GOG)

I actually dont mind a TOD game but this game lacks in any defensive option (There is no push back, there is no alpha counter, there are no viable reversal options in some matchups). Ayame Vs Botan is an impossible match up. I play Ayame but I dont have any option to get up close and personal with Botan unless I spend meter. To which if I spend meter with 214H and my opponent blocks it, that's it, the match is over. Joewari Da

There is a problem with resolutions in this game, I get the best performance if I play in fullscreen but the game is stretched to fit the whole screen with no regards to aspect ratio, If I play in Exclusive Fullscreen, the game is cropped and I cant see the characters' feet (Important) and health and meter bars and if I play in windowed, its a stuttery mess that plays anywhere between 44-60 FPS regardless of characters and or stage its not poggers at all.

Why did I rate this game positive then if I have a bad time with this game? I see potential in it. If they fix the balance and work around optimizing the game, then yes, I will see it as a really great fighting game. and as it is of now, I feel bad for complaining considering the game is free and has more content than Street Fighter V had during its launch.

TLDr: I hate Botan (Not the streamer, the character in this game. I dont watch livestreams, I have better things to do with my time like nHent-)

After 18 hrs of playtime, I finally finished this game. Honestly disappointed because of 2 things: Colour Customize and Optimization. The colour customize is similar to the one in KOFXIII but very limited as you only get to mix and match different colours based off the 10 palettes each character has. The optimisation is really questionable. The game looks good, but whats funny is that some characters like Noel, Vlov and Hisui & Kohaku (Duo Team) really lag the game whenever you they are on screen. I get 43 ish FPS whenever they are just on screen. They dont need to be doing anything, just standing there and it chews up FPS. Otherwise I get 60FPS across all stages with all other characters. It used to drop some FPS whenever I did a 3C but I dont see that nowadays. Might have been patched out.
The core gameplay is really good. The only downside is the autocombos or rapid beats as they are called. They can really mess up some of your combos at first and especially in mission (combo trials) mode. I really like the shield mechanic, Doing some clashes was really fun and engaging each time. I bet there are clash videos out there like in Older Guilty Gear games.
The single player is decent. Not bonkers stuff like BlazBlue ChronoPhantasma Extend, but it is is plenty.
There is: Story (Arcade Mode), Time Attack, Score Attack, Survival, Challenges and Boss Rush Mode.
You are awarded with points that you can spend in the gallery or buy icons, titles, plates and title plates for your online profile. I cant comment much on netplay as I just played 1 match for the achievement. It was ok but playable than UNIClr or some delay based netcode.
If there was a mixed option for a review I'd pick it. Those 2 negatives outweigh the positives and Im glad I finally finished the game. I can go back to CPEX or +R now

Try it out for 2 hours to see if you'll enjoy it or refund it

I recently completed (100% achievements) this game and it was fun af
The game is gorgeous and its one of the few fighting games still using 2D pixel art sprites. They are high resolution and crisp af. It runs at a solid framerate and its stages look good. Though they arent detailed like the ones in BlazBlue. Though given the aesthetic of UNI, there's nothing to complain about. The game has a cast of 16 characters. Each of them is different visually and mechanically. The achievements encourages you to learn these characters and with that I now main everyone in the game except Waldstein. I hate chonky boys.

There is a decent amount of single player content. This includes Arcade (Story Mode), Score Attack, Time Attack and Classic Survival. You earn in game currency in which you can spend on colour palettes, custom plates for online use and some gallery items. Weird mentioning it here but the music is godlike! Each and Every track is great but my favourite is Blood Drain Again (Eltnum's theme)

The online is garbage though. The game's framerate is tied to your connection. If you are playing with someone from another continent, you'll be playing in slow motion (Akira, VF). There is virtually no one playing this game so head over to discussions and add the nearest person from you to help with online achievements

Sadly this game is outdated and a newer, better version exists with more characters, a tutorial and an active community
Do I recommend this game? Yes. But do get it in a bundle. I got it from Fanatical in an anime bundle. I dont think its worth it even on sale. But its still a fine game you WILL have fun in

This game is great! took me 60 hours to 100% it.
It looks, sounds and runs great. There is a diverse cast of 17 students who are tasked to face the Ziggurat and each of them have a different ending. Some of them do share some endings though.
There is a daily challenge you can participate in and there was a time I was #1 for a few hours lol

I recommend it

First of all, buy this game for 10Hrs worth of Single Player Content(Tournament) it has Quick Play and some Time Attack challenges but who plays that anyways?
The Multiplayer is dead(Online and Leaderboards are no longer available due to server shutdown)
The game is just OK
just 2 vehicles, 1 Dirt Bike and 1 ATV. Luckily, they can be customized to the point you cant tell the difference between the two
The Tournament is just OK though the last levels have heavy rubber banding and doesnt feel good
I had to cheat by Crashing before a cliff and getting respawned ahead of the pack

the game runs good, even on a potato on High settings but that Post Processing is just awful at normal settings
it looks as if someone peed on the display or rubbed grease all over it
I set it to "simple" which removes it entirely even the water splash FX

The Sound Track is metal
you'll find known bands such as Queens of The Stone Age and Slipknot
There's nothing good like catching Massive air while Duality By Slipknot is blasting in the back ground

the OSTs arent that great, there are like 2 exceptions and I cant even remember their names
There are some good tracks but they are only played during menus and title screens
Negatives:
Collision Detection is god awful
seriously Sometimes it gives me a pass but most of the time My vehicle blows up because of an unseen rock it just leaves you confused
Lots of Rubber Banding in the later levels of the tournament
Dead Multiplayer
this game would be a good time if Multiplayer was still alive or they at least provided us with Peer To Peer multiplayer

Would I recommend this game? Yes
but get it on sale its just around 10 hours of play time(I know it says 25 hours but that's because I left it idle last night, I dunno why Steam counted those extra hours, up from 7) and maybe 15 if you plan on 100% it which is unrewarding imo as there are no achievements or leaderboards
It goes on sale for about $1 on Humble Bundle which makes it a really good deal
I got it for free from my Ex Girlfriend and I quite enjoyed it overall

Though I didnt get to bang any of them, its one of my very first "Kinetic" novels , there are no choices, no minigames, no stats, just read the story
Character designs are pretty cute and the story was good.
the only complaint I have is that the achievements cant be earned if you are playing the game in Offline mode...
So keep that in mind
100/10, would marry Lucia and Aisia
