Great, well worth the extra $10 for the additional content.

In my opinion, the quintessential "Cool Shooter".

Guns feel punchy as-is, but this is further amplified in bullet time. The narrative is good, fairly captivating and structured in such a way that subsequent playthroughs still have meaning, and allow you to see things from a different perspective.

The visuals are fine, it's a game from 2012 after all, but still, it's far from lacking in this respect. It aged, yes, but it hasn't lost it's charm, to which Max contributes very cynically with every occasion.

It's a definite buy at 20€, and a must have on discount. We still have a while to wait for Max Payne 4, so might aswell enjoy this underrated gem 'til then.

Really cool concept, i've been playing another similar mobile game, but the fact that you can interact with items and actually look for them yourself is really neat.

I'd buy it now if i could, very excited for this. I know it's single-player only, but bidding against other players would be very engaging i imagine.

Yes, this made me very happy. I want a new Gothic game and a reimagining of the original seems to be the way to go.
Most things we say about the game right now are irrelevant, there are a lot of iffy things with it, mainly the steep sys reqs but they will be fixed by the time the game releases, all in all YES, i want this, i need this.

Please pursue this THQ, please.

Budget PUBG.
Having played both i can say it boils down to this. Ofc, if you're low on $$$ you can grab H1 and still have fun with it, but i'd say just scrape together the additional 10 EUR for PUBG and get that instead.

Early Access Review
Broken beyond repair. Horrible optimization and very high price tag for what it offers. I highly doubt you'd be able to start the game running minimum specs.
And i'm not picky about early access titles either, dayz (for instance) is a much more complete and enjoyable experience for the same price, if not a bit cheaper.

Overly hyped by streamers and youtubers, most of which have been paid to promote it. Maybe in time it will become mediocre, but as of now it's just a bad game that lives off of what H1Z1 failed to deliver.

-No directional sound
-Unbearable lag
-Fairly ugly for how bad it runs

I don't usually write reviews, but i feel the need to right the wrongs of all your "gaming-connoisseur" edgelord reviews.

This is not a bad game, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Does it suffer from a poor business model? Arguably yes, but that does not make the game any less enjoyable.
It was, by all means, a dumb move to include a cash-shop in a singleplayer only game, but once you actually play the game, you'll see you don't need anything from it. The weapons you can buy are eye-candy, no one needs a semi-auto tranc gun if you plan on going stealth, and you won't need a cooler looking battlerifle if you plan on going guns blazing.
Buying special weapons isn't going to make the game feel any different. The only semi-justifiable use for the cash shop is to buy praxis, which you'll never run low on if you take you time and explore (i.e. play the game as it is intended to be played)

The mere presence of a cash shop does not make a game bad as long as the game itself works well without it. It's pacing is great as it is, you are not pressured into buying anything
