I played D4 at launch + season 1, this game was definitely better. Will be refunding, as I'm done with ARPGs. It is what it is. May buy it on sale some day.

Solid game!! I've really been enjoying it. :) Platforming and puzzle solving can be access via monsters you collect on your adventure. Controls are very smooth & crisp on a controller!

Many reviews are comparing this to Pokemon, but there are dozens of other monster collecting games over the years that would land closer to this (Dragon Warrior Monsters). The combat system is vastly different as well, trying to compliment your team's multi-striking or status abilities create a multiplier for one big final hit.

The difficulty spike from Keepers is pretty rough - if you don't have the right team, you'll get stomped!

I've lost my save file twice. :(
