I only recently bought Terraria on Steam, but I've amassed hundreds of hours of gametime between Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows Phone and the GOG version. Terraria is one of those rare gems that can make me sit and play it endlessly. When you think you've run out of things to do, there is always something left unexplored. It may be a certain type of enemy or drop, or even something to build.

The game has a rather steep learning curve, but it has very good wikis and forums where a whole lot of information can be found. The official wiki has about all the vital data you would need from playing this game, and much time will be spent there. I wish there was more help in game so you wouldn't have to rely on external resources, but after a while most of the basic things will become second nature.

While it is fun in single player, an extra dimension will be added when played cooperatively. Work with your friends to kill bosses; build headquarters, farms of any kind; or simply explore.

I cannot fairly express how great this game is. It has to be experienced.
