This new "anti cheat" they added doesnt even protect against cheaters that well... It has also broken the compatibility with Steam Deck devices even though Rockstar COULD HAVE. Disgusting.

With over 3,000 hours, Grand Theft Auto Online was my NUMBER ONE REASON for getting a Steam Deck. Now that Rockstar has added anti-cheat protection software into it, it makes playing this game online on Steam Deck or any Linux device unplayable (even though Rockstar are able to support the game ON LINUX). Funny thing is there are still cheaters! Until Rockstar does something with the anti cheat, I wont be playing this game anymore. Thank you again Rockstar 🖕
