I've been following the developer's journey on Instagram for a long time, and I'm really excited to see Pax Augusta nearing its release! I tried the demo and loved it — you can feel how much time, effort, and passion went into this project. Wishing the game huge success!

I first played No Man's Sky on the Nintendo Switch a couple of years ago, clocking in somewhere between 40-60 hours of intergalactic wanderlust. But let’s be real - while the Switch is great for portability, it’s not exactly a powerhouse for eye-popping visuals. So, here I am, starting fresh on PC, ready to soak in the game’s full glory, and oh boy, it’s been an absolute treat to dive back in!

First off, the sheer amount of content in this game is bananas. Want to become a space pirate? Go for it. Prefer terraforming a paradise planet? Have at it. Or maybe you’re more into cataloging weird alien creatures that look like a cross between a giraffe and a toaster? The galaxy is literally your playground. There’s so much to do that the biggest challenge is deciding what to focus on (Spoiler: I mostly just run around marveling at the scenery like a space tourist with no schedule)

This time around, I’m super hyped to try playing with a friend. I’ve never experienced the multiplayer side of No Man's Sky, but the idea of building a base together or co-piloting a fleet sounds like pure chaos in the best way possible. Oh, and don’t even get me started on expeditions - they’re calling my name, and I can’t wait to see what wild scenarios they throw at me.

A massive shoutout to the developers, by the way. It’s so heartwarming to see the game now rocking a Very Positive/Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam - it’s completely deserved. Hello Games took what could’ve been a galaxy-sized flop and turned it into an interstellar masterpiece. Seriously, hats off to them.

TL;DR: No Man's Sky is like a good wine - it just gets better with time. Whether you’re a returning player like me or jumping in for the first time, it’s a blast. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have planets to explore, spaceships to upgrade, and a whole galaxy to conquer. See you out there, traveler!

I've spent about 60 hours playing No Man's Sky on the Nintendo Switch, and I absolutely loved it! Astroneer feels like a "No Man's Sky Lite." My biggest gripe with the game is its lack of guidance. It doesn’t teach you how to interact with its systems, and that’s a problem. The game desperately needs a more detailed tutorial instead of the barebones one it currently offers.

I understand that Astroneer has come a long way compared to its early versions, but that’s irrelevant to me as a player today. Even with my extensive experience in this genre, I would have been completely lost without my friend, who patiently acts as my sensei, walking me through all the mechanics. And honestly, that's the saving grace for me. Playing with a friend is incredibly fun and engaging, and I genuinely enjoy the time I spend exploring and learning the game with his help.

Despite its flaws, I’m giving it a thumbs up, but only because the multiplayer experience makes it worth it. If you’ve got a friend who’s willing to guide you, this game can be a blast! :)

I don’t have much experience with city-builders, but I really liked Kingdoms & Castles for its simple style and brightness. I first launched the game in February, and since it was winter, gray, and cold outside, I wanted to add more bright colors to my life, and this worked perfectly! I like that the game never lets me get bored – the residents constantly need something from me, and I regularly have to solve these little tasks.

Early Access Review
First impressions are great!

I love the game's look and the quirky way buildings mesh together when placed next to each other.

The tutorial is a bit iffy in places, but I figured out what’s needed—probably because I've played similar games before. A big shoutout for using both text and short videos to explain the mechanics; it really helped make things clearer.

Since the game's still in early access, it's not the final version yet, but you're on the right track. Best of luck, and here’s to lots of players!

UPD Nevertheless, I agree with the comments that say it's more of a puzzle than a city builder

I liked the game, but I'll wait until an easy mode is available. Just because I prefer it here.

So I just started playing this bizarre mash-up of Dark Souls and Zelda, and let me tell you, it's like putting pineapple on pizza – surprisingly good!

I've only scratched the surface, but I'm already hooked. It was strange to discover a world map in Dark Souls, but I've already gotten used to its existence. And get this, there's a JUMP button! I keep pressing it just for kicks, because why not? It's a little odd, like seeing a knight do parkour, but it's still unmistakably Dark Souls in flavor.

I'm not far in, but unless the game decides to throw in a singing dragon or something, I doubt anything will dampen my enthusiasm :)

I saw a comment in another review highlighting that this game isn't about building your deck, and I want to emphasize that too.
The world of this game appears card-themed, giving it a unique style, but in reality, it's a jRPG with an engaging story and a fairly easy difficulty level, which I absolutely loved!

Surprisingly, moving a token around to flip cards and unveil the world was incredibly captivating. The narrator's voice is soft and soothing, a real treat for the ears.

This is the third game in the series, but each one stands alone with its own story, so you can start with any of them. If you enjoy one, you're likely to enjoy the others.

I've completed the first two games (and the demo version, which is a prequel to the first part). Absolutely delightful! I'm thrilled that there's a third installment and I hope there will be more :)
