Cute and relaxing indie rogue-like. Gameplay is relatively simple, but it's the perfect game if you're looking for something you can pick up and play with very little free time

A mellow strategy game that presents very little difficulty, wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a challenge. Good if you want something simple and relaxing to play.

A nice twist on city building simulators with a charming art style. Different scenarios and events increase replay value a great deal, though it can be frustrating when you get several hours into a playthrough and an event chain you've already seen several times launches again rather than a new one.

Oh and there are a plethora of mods available.

A fantastic game with a rich setting and compelling gameplay.
But they removed "Into Free" from the title screen, 6/10 barely worth playing now.

I suppose it's best to start with a few warnings:
1) Even though I significantly surpass the hardware recommendations, in certain areas of the game there was noticeable frame stuttering.
2) I suffered a handful of crashes while playing the game but with no commonality between them I couldn't hope to identify the cause.
3) It is possible to become trapped in an area of the game (Asili's Lab) if you complete one of the objectives too soon using an alternate path, it's immediately evident when it has happened so just be sure to keep several saves.

All of that aside this was a phenomenal game, the combat could be a little too easy on normal difficulty and far too punishing on the harder ones meaning there's was no nice challenging middle for me but it remained engaging.
A handful of the side quests could drag on when they consisted of traveling between NPCs and talking to them over and over, but the fact that you're given multiple methods of completing them and that they tie in to the main story is a definite plus.
Without a doubt though the strongest part of this game is it's narrative and the consideration paid to your previous actions or the party members that you've brought along. There is a common unavoidable through-line as there always seems to be in games where "choices matter" but I don't believe I've ever seen such care taken to reflect the player's decisions.
The setting itself is also fantastic and I hope that Spiders doesn't shy away from the idea of revisiting the rich world they have created.

It's good, but that is because Halo was (almost) always good. It would take a measure of incredible incompetence to botch this port to a degree that changes that.
Though there are some bugs and control issues the developers have acknowledged and intend to fix.

Continued developer support and a healthy modding community ensure this game has years of life left in it.
