Echoing what a lot of reviews have said - I'm floored that they really did improve on the first game in so many ways - And I adore the first game. This is highkey one of the best sequels since Half-Life 2.

Relaxing, great graphics, easy to figure out and lots of options for customization!

Great world, great story - another banger from Larian.

The first time I sat down to place this I didn't get the concept of a Roguelike - The game was just highly recommended by some trusted friends. I did not enjoy it much and didn't think much of it.

Later, I would play Children of Morta with my wife - and the same friend who recommended Hades pointed out to me that it works in a similar fashion - and it immediately then clicked.

Now I can't put it down. I've been gaming since the mid/late 90's and this is easily one of my favourite games in my lifetime. The story writing (which does have a couple of stumbles when setting up part of the arch, but recovers quickly and gracefully), the music, the art, the accessibility for those with different needs - top to bottom, an amazing piece of art, and I'm glad to know it.

I guess this is a bit #PatientGamers but I'm just getting in to this now and am not disappointed!

Absolutely delightful in every way. A peaceful, relaxing trek around a mountain with friends.

Still loving this game 3 years on - Lots to see and do, the level designs and art are engaging, and there's SO MANY BEARDS! (Who needs hats?)

Good fun solo, or with a friend! Decent complexity and great dialogue.

Great fun so far in the first 5 hours! No time-gating, either, which is nice. Easy learning curve and a great, playful atmosphere. A very low-stress sim!
