Honest advice:

Go and play the first POE, get 1 or 2 characters to the endgame.

This will not help at all in terms of gameplay or mechanics, but at that point you should have lost all family and social ties, allowing you to play POE 2 as intended.

One of the very few games that will keep you interested in for over 1000 hrs and the first ever not pay-to-win game on planet, but you gonna be spendin some cash coz everyone needs hats to be good right?
