“Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons” is an atmospheric adventure indie game done perfectly. The story is rich and includes a few puzzles too. The main idea of the story shortly - two boys who have already struggled with the loss of their mother, and are now faced with the reality of a sick and dying father, must save him by retrieving "The Water of Life". And so their journey begins.

The story is excellent, it immerses you into the world immediately. I've experienced a lot of different emotions - happiness, fear, wanderlust, compassion and grief. The game successfully tells a consistent, intelligible, fulfilling and mature story without the characters saying single word which you could understand because if I'm not mistaken it's in Finnish (which confused me at the beginning, to be honest), but it entirely relies on pure interactive game-play. That genuinely leaves a deep emotional impression on the player.

The world is elaborate, charming and spirited, and despite its story being only ~4 hours long, it takes you through a lot of various environments, every chapter feels fresh, captivating and interesting. There also can be found some mini side-quests that reward you with achievements and extra contents. It would be a sin if I don't mention the brilliance of the soundtracks - truly atmospheric and moving.

You control two individual characters at the same time (the brothers) to solve interesting, varied puzzles in order to progress through the level. Even if it's told that the game is supposed to be single-player, I think that it can be an amazing local co-op too. Playing by myself was unique expierience I have never had before because simultaneously controlling two characters can be quite challenging sometimes. There's a notice that game requires a controller to play - I played with keyboard (wasd, space bar, ctrl and arrows) and I hadn't any problems with that.

“Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons” is truly fascinating game. It had captured my heart. This is one journey you will never forget.
To be honest, the ending has broken my heart. But it was worth it and I'll definetly play this game again.

"One must be strong where the other is weak, brave where the other is fearful, they must be... Brothers."

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ friend zone simulator.
It makes you feel sad and depressed because it doesn't matter what you choose to do, you'll always end up being rejected. But actually that makes sense because you're talking to her ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ once a year.

Good game to play co-op or versus with friends.

Nick: ["The Passing"; the group arrives at a wedding reception, complete with a Witch bride; whispering] Careful. I've seen a bride *just* like that before.
Coach: Man, I hope we don't see a Tank in a tuxedo...
